Get em hooked up!

Ok well I’ve just lashed them into the nearest spots to an existing speaker cable. Currently running Tidal off an iPad with B&Q speaker cable but initially they definitely do sound like PA speakers. Putting the grills on softens it a lot. I need to hook it up to the proper system in the right positions and get to know them for a while.

Hi guys,
I was looking to get a replacement stylus for my Audio Technica AT100E cartridge. Finding a replacement is proving a pain as it's discontinued.
I'm now thinking about a new cartridge, possibly a slight upgrade.
Any advice on what to look at and what would be a step up from what I've got?
Or what is their current equivalent cartridge as to be honest I've been fine with it. -

Got to listen for a bit today in the right positions with my nice Creek amp and the dragonfly DAC. Still an ad-hoc system but getting there.
Push them right against the wall to get some bottom end. They might just be too fresh but the bass is light. They’re so thrilling though, I understand dynamic range now. They’re so unlike any other speaker I’ve heard that it’s going to take time to fully adjust but with the stuff I like (bright eyes, Lambchop, Wilco, that stuff) they’re really really exciting.

My apartment in New York was really quite poor for speaker placement opportunities. It was very small and there were corners everywhere. Realistically, my new living room is probably very reflective and could do with some acoustic paneling but that isn't gonna happen if my wife has anything to do with it... But, I've finally been able to give these B&W 607s some breathing room and they sound completely different. Was always a teeny tiny bit underwhelmed, but they now sound wonderful with my Onkyo A-9150. Genuinely couldn't be happier with them. Of course there's always something better out there but these are great for me, for now.
Definitely have enough space for some floorstanders, though....

Yeah, we have actually unpacked more stuff since this was taken and there's an extra chair in here and some books too.

Nice. Look at all that space! What a treat.

You're telling me! It's 3x the size of our quite dark apartment in New York, almost $1000 cheaper per month and has an abundance of natural light. Couldn't be happier.
Sweet Klipsch by the way! Very cool.

Heh, apparently when you use emojis that are gender specific, it uses the male/female symbol to display which gender was selected?
I selected the male shrug emoji 🤷🏻♂️

Anyone got a Quad 303 knocking around? Would love to see how it sounds with these big Tannoys. Classic combo at the BBC apparently.

I've just bought a new pair of headphones for my music making setup (Beyer DT1770).
Does anyone know of a cable with mini XLR connection that has an in-line remote? Would be handy if I am travelling... in 2021 sometime.
