  • But then where would the one bottle of wine that I dont manage to drink go?!

  • 30 and a bit cm is approx 12 inches...

  • Cheers for the info @Levantis ! Have found one for £150 in real good condition, sound about right?

No probs. They seem to go for a wide range of prices, and £150 is top end, but not too much if it's in great nick. It's apparently a very good design inside, so not much to go wrong, and it may well have had a recent refresh (caps and so on) for that price. Post/send a link if you like, and I'll take a look.

  • Larger cupboard required. You could reuse the current doors, face frame if you must. Should really be inset 5 panel doors with a nice lambs tongue moulding in there though.

  • Then you could fit a proper HK 730 Twin in there.

  • DO NOT TEMPT ME.

  • PM'd. Also, any pics of yours?

  • Got your message. Really busy, but will take a look and get back to you asap, and dig mine out and sort out some snaps.

  • Cheers!
    You're not using yours?!

  • Nice set up. Wolfgang hanging out of Kraftwerk corner and is that a dash of Warp purple?

  • Thanks to this discussion about shelf depth I've just satisfied my OCD by discovering that the cause of the minor overhang of my units wasn't a power lead (I was getting ready to order one of those 90 degree thingies) but the set of jack plugs going into the back of the tuner which I hardly ever use. So I've unplugged them, and the units now sit a satisfying couple of mm back from the front of the shelf.

    Thank you forum!

  • I've got the 2020i's on Q acoustic's own wall brackets in my cellar and they are surprisingly good.

So good I went for QI65RP in-wall speakers when we rebuilt the back of our flat. Although I haven't actually heard them yet!

  • So much satisfaction.

  • Eagle eyes! Yes, Wolfgang's peeping out from the Showroom Dummies 12" - in fact three Kraftwerk records are visible in that photo... Computer World and Tour de France 12". The Purple could so easily have been some early Warp 12 or other. But no, that's actually a Purple record in a Purple sleeve, a re-press of Shades of Deep Purple. Best of all, despite average artwork, the 10" at the front is an Awesomely Pressed King Tubby / Trinity & Dillinger tune on Glimmer, which is the sort of record (along with lots of others!) that makes this stuff all worth having.

  • Today I missed out on a mint boxed sme magnesium iv tone arm £40

    Slightly Gutted? yes.

  • You win some ...

    Better luck next time coppiThat.

  • Cleared a few books to take some pics, and message sent...

Not using them just now, but they're keepers!

  • They are really nice. deffo keepers. dont tell @chrisbmx116 your address ;)

  • These or the audiolab?!?! Someone decide for me please (it'll fit).

  • Quad 33/303

  • I'm not an audiophile so this is unfamiliar territory, but I still love my cds and ended up purchasing more than I needed off ebay looking for a new cd player...

  • Basic NAD BEE series will get you there.
