This looks like a 405 mk1. The mk11 sounds a bit better and I prefer the 303, which is usually cheaper.
If any of you have the need for spares try these guys http://quadrevisionspot.blogspot.com/

This is the private message I just got from coppiThat entitled ''Fail'

ur message is maybe three hours too late! conservative estimate
I have no idea why you PMed that so I'll reply here... in the relevant thread.
I skimmed through a lot of the post because I was in a rush and it looked like chit chat so didn't notice it was dibbsed. Do you seriously have nothing better to do than send 12 year old fan boy-esque private messages about sold hifi gear... like, say tracking down the lab-guy who pissed in your parents' IVF test-tube. Night night sweetheart X -

I had no idea this would generate such interest - almost as good as a Gorgeous Baby Blue Fixie! Thanks for all the interest, there is a disorderly queue, those of you in it know who you are and roughly where you are, remember, get it together or in 2 days coppiThat's pledge is fulfilled as a matter of course ;-)

I used to collect these with my Nan, 100's of the things. My favourite was a Pink Panther one where he was turning green for some reason i can't recall.
Everyone i've mentioned it to can't remember them, just like that fizzy chocolate flavour drink.Quality!!

SOLD! - thanks for all the interest, btw although it was priced to sell easily, I did base the asking price on the usual eBay search and for all those interested parties that lost out this time there's plenty like this available on t'Bay at similar prices... cheers H
