I like his writing but it, combined with the accolades of the dozens of 'comments', are just sickening reminders of all that is manipulative, cynical or just pathetic in society. heh, I remember there was a time when macintosh user tried to claim those PPC (before they use Intel) were very powerful at the time.

I've still got a PPC G5 at home, runs CS2 fine. Not bad for a 5 year old computer.

I have the very last iteration of the PPC iMac G5 (iSight) and an almost brand new MacBook: both are fast and extremely reliable.

I think your use of numbered points underlines the extent to which you have failed to grasp any subtlety, to humorous effect.

It's a brilliant source of ad-revenue for the guardian. It's something that's had terabytes of discussion already devoted to it but is so obviously going to pull more comments than anything else published in the graniaud - so in that sense [the sense that it's basically a cashcow for brooker who is in turn the guardians cash cow] then yes, it is brilliant.
