Sorry mate I don't, some of the other guys might though.

Also, I'd stay away from the SC half links in my experience they're shit. Would look at the KMC half link.
+1. Shadow chains are shit. Had one on my BMX and it sucked. When I built a dirt jump bike for my mate Tenz, I used a gusset half link. Run one on my fixed now. It is ok, but when it is worn out I will go back to a standard KMC freestyle chain (what I class as a throw away chain. Use for a month and then change it. £5 a time. Sorted).

Yeah, I don't get the appeal of half links other than aesthetics. They're fiddly as fuck to fit, and a tad on the heavy side too.

Does anyone know where I can get a 700 x 23c rear wheel in Norwich for, like, as little cash as possible? I want the lowest quality shit that has ever been produced. The sooner and more catastrophically it fails, the better. I just need a cheap wheel.
For a geared road bike gasp -
• #331
I've got a rusty old 5-speed you can have.
-
• #332
I can make one from some old wood and cardboard I've got in the garage... It'll fail magnificently. I'll even throw in some duct tape so you can attach the cassette.
-
• #333
I can just balance your dropouts on a pile of bricks, then wait for you to get comfy and topple it over.
-
• #334
But seriously, I do have an old five speed wheel, but it is proper shit.
-
• #335
How shit? Sounds like he wants shit shit.

If you mean it comes with a block then I don't need that - I'll have to use my old one so it fits the chain. But yea I might be interested, so long as it runs alright and all. Or could be made to do so with a 60p pack of new bearings.

Wood? Well la dee da, posh boy. When I was growing up we made our frames from plant stems and wheels from clay. Except it wasn't clay, it was just soil from the council estate mixed with our tears and vimto.
-
• #337
Yeah, what can I say, silver spoon and all that shit. I miss Vimto, can you still buy that stuff. I also miss 10p Space Invader crisps, making 1 portion of chips go around you and your mates, and panda pops. Fuck I'm old.
-
• #338
Woah, Space Invaders still exist. My girlfriend buys them from pound shops. Weird hangover from a childhood growing up in Essex. I believe that they have been hit by inflation though.

Wilco on Dereham road have cheap new wheels for about £20 i think.
-
• #340
I always get cheap shit outta Wilco... Their shit sucks, but not in a Halfords "paying through the nose" for shitty shit sorta way!

I've just got back from Wilco and a few others.
Wilco has various wheels but not narrow rims.
Streetlife, Borwell and Velo Cycles all have the same cheapo 23mm wheels, £35 each or £27 from Borwell, surprisingly.
Specialised also apparently had some but haven't got them in stock at the moment. -

Alright Ali, was glad to see you and your bike back together on Dereham Road the other night. First time I've heard of a bike being stolen and then returned.. did you ever find out what happened?

£27 from Borwell, surprisingly.
Too good to be true. I bought it today and only once I'd left did I realise I paid £40.50 for the wheel, two tubes and some rim tape. That means the wheel was probably like £33 or more. Never mind, I couldn't have got it cheaper elsewhere anyway.
and i guess a lil french nd teeny bit jappy but we can allow for tht !!! haha
