a potential one for a Friday night?
if we took a detour and came home via Itteringham/Aylsham it may be a bit nicer, plus several good pubs on the route too!

I'm in. Could go Haveringland / Cawston / Heydon if you fancy getting off the Holt Road.
-
• #585
thats a good call, holt road is smoetimes a bit hectic, especially if we want to ride doubled up for chatting purposes...
-
• #586
Looks like I'll have to be geared again, Giant are treating me to a new headset as well as forks but gotta wait a few days for it. This is why I should learn how to build my own, no shoddy parts that way.
-
• #587
Yeah, sounds good. The back on the main road for ease of travel, and a nice clear route!?
-
• #588
If we want to ride doubled up for chatting purposes...
Nah, I'm alright ta.
-
• #589
Only kidding. Looking forward to it.
I'm finishing a 16-hour shift at midday on Friday. I'll pop home to get six hours kip and then come out for a nice early-morning ride. In the dark.

16 hours then sleep... Lightweight! Hahaa, only joking. That's pretty rough. I aint done that for about a year, and I made a pact to not do it again anytime soon...
-
• #591
Yeah, I'm gonna be a zombie on the way home. Work is ordering in pizzas and snacks, and I'll be bringing in some rocket-fuel coffee.

Just bought myself a new Fuji Track... hope to see of you around town. Got to get used to this 'fixed' malarkey.
-

Step 1: Buy a brake
Step 2: Come along on Friday -
• #594
Cool, def up for a friday night ride... although don't want to slow anyone down. Not sure my long distance fitness will be up to the same level as you guys.

Nah we are pussy hole... Lol. The easiest way to learn is to throw ya self in the deep end... You may suffer a little bit, but ya get fit fast! Always allow ya body to recover afterwards. Fitness isn't how fast/ far you can go... It is how long it takes you to recover! There ya go. Sports science. Not bad for someone with a pickled liver!
Good luck with the fuji. I miss mine... Brakes and lights are a must. Oh and riding out of the city is easier to learn...

Got to agree with this. Cities annoying when it's constantly stop start all the while.

Sparky - riding with brakes for three years with a couple dozen accidents.
Yeah, I was pressured into going by my dad. They took one look at me and sent me home, basically.
