I agree with above ^^!
Also any chance you fancy riding near Dereham so you can pick me up on the way? Then we can do a few miles and I'll ride back, really no point in me driving to work and home only to drive back up the city the same night.

• #378
Why don't we do it earlier, then you can hang around after work?
-
• #379
+1 I'd be happy with that!

• #380
I am up for earlier. Sort of 6 o'clock ish? Yeah the ferry runs til 11pm I think. And what route... Social is good, so no racing off gear boy! Ha, joking. Well up for a chilled one but still want to do a distance though, currently doing a spot of core conditioning! Putting in some serious abs and chest work at the gym, so a bit pussyosh atm! Lol. Will be worth it though. Turn this fucked up body into a pure 12 valve engine!

Spence, I'll bring my gear with me to work and we can head down after. Or maybe grab some food/fuel and then head down?

-
• #389
Ha, a choice of 3 rides.... Hmmmmmmmmm. Shall we just do the one from last week, then follow on next week with the broads trawl?
-
• #390
What, the one we did last week, or the one we planned to do?
-
• #391
The one we planned to do...

• #392
The map ypu have prduced looks an aweful lot like the reedham run too... I know this route like the back of my hand! I recon we should ghave a vote.. Saw Wigz today too, he said he is in for Friday, and that there is a reggae do on at Saxmundham on Friday night too, so If (?) we did the Reedham run backwards, then go for beer at reggae do before Kirby beddon, then back to Norwich?!
-
• #393
Like it.
-
• #394
Cool. It is settled then... The reedham run it is...
-
• #395
Nice one, we still on for 7 as well yeah?
Also do you guys carry anything with you when you go like pump or any spare tubes? I kinda don't want to but feel I should!
-
• #396
I do. Probably a good idea! Ha. Generally just a few small tools, a tube and a pump should do it. Also water, maybe chocolate/alchohol/smokables, rain wear etc...
Better to be prepared, than end up stuck up the shit stream without a paddle. If I had my way I would just carry myself, but I have been luck with mechanical failings do far!

Does the Ferry run at night?
I say, keep it short-ish & simple, take it slow, leave no man behind - let's have a proper social ride.
