Just installed the Beach Bum patch and my Sheriff SUV has gone, seems a bit unfair considering it wasn't glitched to get it in my garage.

Glad I didn't bother with getting one. 6pt and me tried exchanging cars last night, the minute I leave he gets kicked out of the car, so they thought of that scenario already. But at least he got the car he was after.

I came on here to say almost exactly this!!! Although, I didn't know it was the beach bum pack, just an upgrade when I started up the game. Fuckers, wasted an expensive car getting it (got impounded when I was killed at the prison but disappeared completely instead of letting me steal it back) and then spent money modding the SUV. Reckon there's a point getting in touch with Rockstar?

I paused GTA V for one minute last night. Noticed some dots coming towards me on the map and was about to unpause but it was too late, they'd shot me (how does that work when paused?) and pinched my Porsche (Comet or whatever it's called). So there's definitely a way of pinching other people's cars, but the tracker would stop you garaging it, I think.

Where is the setting about granting access or not someone mentioned? I can't find it...

What about turning on Passive mode? $100 isn't much to stop fuckwit from shooting at you.

Fox - hold select to bring up the inventory and its a setting in there. You can change it to crew and friends which I think is best but you can be anti social and set it to only you.

The exercise was not about stealing as such. I wanted to know if a crew member could keep another crew member's modified car. Access was setup to allow, the plan was to garage the car, whilst I logged off. But the second I did, 6pt was ejected from the car. I think you are right the tracker probably also hinders things.

WTF!!! Just got a message saying to call Mors Mutual to make a claim against my destroyed car. It was the Feltzer that the cops took! £1.8k and it's not back in my garage. Fucking weird

@scoble I'm not bothered about being shot, it's the car stealing bit I'm interested in - interested in whether I can stop other players pinching my motors. And you say that, but I'm meant to be saving for a Monroe, although that's not going well as I seem to have spent more at Ammunation recently than I've made :(

There seem to be a lot of players driving around in Stingers ($1,000,000) and so on who I can only think made loadsamoney before the easy cash glitches were fixed. Unless anyone can tell me better ways of making money than stealing Ballers or the Violent Duct mission?
