How do people get their cars back after being impounded? I have taken to driving an SUV up to the wall of the yard and using that to climb over but I must be missing something more straight forward.

There is an alley way at the back of the impound (right where your car is parked). You can climb straight over the wall, next to your car.

Much easier.

By going to the police station in LS and walk near the garage in the driveway.

Will check it out. It's also fun if someone else is trying to get theirs back and waiting for them to open the gates so you can run in. Or help them out by sniping a few of the rozzers.

20 hour single player (just missions) and online with 100s of hours of content is well worth the asking price.

A shit film will set you back £12 in London and only take up 90 minutes of your time.

Its a game I'd mostly be playing online with friends. Otherwise I'm always on fifa or CoD on the PC

I would say £40 is still amazing value.

I think so. It is basically two games for the price of one, and the size and scale of Los Santos is incredible. I was in LA not long before I bought it and I was amazed by how many places I recognised and how faithfully they've recreated the feel of the place when I first played the game. I'd go as far as saying as Rockstar's rendering of LS is beautiful, and the game is a masterpiece. As Soul says there's loads to do, I haven't even scratched the surface yet.

Last night I finally managed to land my car in the security ditch between the security fences at Fort Zacundo in story mode. Doing so gives you no wanted stars until a while after you've driven out of the ditch, so I did a quick save there and can now steal any jet/chopper I fancy that's parked at the base.

Stole a jet last night and did a mid-air save once I'd got far enough away from the base to avoid the heat seeking missiles and stuff. Looking forward to flying it around and blowing some things up tonight, but what I'm really gunning for is to do the fence jump with a fast motor online, steal the jet then fly around Los Santos blowing up all the other players :)

I presume this is possible?!

Blowing up players usually means getting their cars as well. R* will stick you in a bad sport lobby if you destroy peoples cars (too often).

There are a couple of races / deathmatch style missions which let you go about murdering other players in jets though.

I think as far as games go GTA5 is great value for £40!

I am now nearing level 25, at almost 39 hours. I messed around a lot over the weekend. Doing bounties and getting killed in freemode. I bought an apartment, bought clothes, haircut, beard, modded some cars, bought lots of weapon upgrades. I didn't get insurance, and had one car impounded and did not get it out in time so I lost my mods. Will be getting insurance on all my cars next. Getting another garage as soon as I can, then one of the supercars.

Got no crew action this weekend, hopefully peeps will be around this week, I want a crew tattoo - there doesn't seem to be an option.

I really wasn't around at the weekend but this missus is away in Paris from tomorrow so game on!

I've got to teach some new recruits how to be empathetic tonight at Samaritans, but I'm going to try online for the first time tonight. Have we got an active PSN crew?

I've been looking for a cheap copy on eBay to come up. Brassic at the mo, waiting for a load of clients to pay me. Bought Tomb Raider for a tenner, which is keeping me busy, and reminding me of spending many hours on TR2 when I was 12.

In terms of value for money I think that GTA 5 is probably the hardest to beat.

You've got hundreds of hours on line. God knows how many hours I've played already but I'm still having so much fun with people on line, riding BMX's around the skate park has been a laugh.
