Next Feburary. Just play system shock 2 again. It's probably better.

I'm playing Forza Horizon. The open world is good (although very much on the small side compared to Test Drive Unlimited) the driving is very good, as should be expected. However, progression through the game is a bit uninspiring, the races are very short and lack variety. Ends up being a fairly relentless buy car; upgrade car; race car, ad infinitum.

Lots of potential, result is a bit meh. Shame.

Fun, but the progress of it all is pretty uneventful.

I was at the Halo 4 launch party last night. Pretty good fun, and the helicopter was a little over the top!

I now have a Halo 4 Limited Edition controller. I don't even play Halo.

I fancy getting a new game for the xbox360 now i have a hd screen finally but am unsure what is good/new/not ridiculously overpriced.

anyone got a list of potentials i should look at?

fwiw i like fallout 3/NV and skyrim but not into sports/driving games.

Borderlands 2 is pretty fun although I am currently addicted to Tropico 4. It's ace.

Probably; given that the two in between were copies of the ride for too long/climb up a building & look around/jab somebody & hide in a hay-bale repeatfest.

In other not groundbreaking but strangely addictive game news; is anyone going to be getting the new CoD? The new one does seem to have some interesting new toys for online so could change things up a bit...

Back on AC3 - there's been a fair bit of rumbling in the office that it feels a bit rushed, like they could have done with more time to polish the details.

Yep. It's pretty buggy, and pretty same old, but still pretty fun.

Blops 2 multiplayer looks good. Microwave machines... wopwopwop.

Yeah I had seen those, as always the multiplayer is the key with CoD so will have to see if those/the scopes that look through walls & the new perks system makes it worth the investment (money & time).

Haven't brought a COD for what will be 2 years now. Can't say I feel like I'm missing much. Have barely played recently but most the time when I have a chance is spent playing fifa 13.

Someone at work's just tipped me off about Deadlight, a side-scrolling zombie platformer on XBLA. Looks interesting, anyone played it?

Played the demo. Found it ploddy and uninspiring. Was disappointed because from the preview stuffs it looked like my kind of game.

just got borderlands 2 at lunchtime.
