Hmm installing but stuck at 1% any ideas?
-
• #5963
still stuck at 1% now? Give it time, I remember my install stayed at 11% for an inordinately long time before moving on.
If it stops completely and you get an error 108, then re-run the download client. It means that files are either missing or corrupted - the client is actually predominantly P2P. My initial download ran into 108 errors before I managed to get in installed.

wow it's taking a while. Now downloading a patch - very very slow internet connection isn't helping one bit.

What are your individual reasons for getting excited over D3? I'm curious...
I've tried moderately hard to get excited by it, but it's just doing nothing for me. Am I RPGd out? It looks like something you'd find on a Nintendo DS.
#Magnets/Can'tExplainMyApathy
I've never understood diablo, or the appeal. I never really played 1 or 2.
My mate mathieu got me into this one, I got hooked just watching him play. The graphics aren't that bad on the whole - typical blizzard affair really. for an enormously succesful video game company they do enjoy living about 5-10 years behind the rest of the world when it comes to many things.
Ben: It was fun! I felt like i was getting in the way a bit though. I didn't realise it just advertised other player's games without you asking it to, i thought you'd put out an open invite.
I'm actually playing through act 1 again with a demon hunter now. I am officially addicted. So far I still prefer the monk though. He's just way more badass.
dunno about lfgss, but my score is about 8 or 9, so far. But I am addicted to video games in general so i'm pretty sure my view is biased.

Assassins creed is fun. It rolls along nicely with lots to do and good to look at. Seems quite easy so far the fighting mechanic is good and the strategy Rome land grap is like a farming game
-
• #5973
Yeah, fightings pretty easy, just hit counter at the right time, everyone takes turns to attack but a good game.

Playing as a demon hunter having a lot of fun. Have just killed skeleton king then decided to call it a night. I can see myself sticking with this character right the way though as i really enjoy the play style of laying traps and dual wheeling cross bows.
Will be playing tomorrow night for sure so might see a few of you on there!
