Nope. Played ever incarnation since the SNES (admittedly a few of them weren't as good). But still the original and best.

rented red dead redemption this week and have to say its an excellent game. Much prefer it to GTA 4.

Red Dead Redemption is exactly what Rockstar should've done over GTA 4.

First games ever I actually stop to look at the scenery, goddamn beautiful, such a shame it won't be out for the PC.

The next GTA will be a lot like Red Dead I imagine. The social aspects of on line play in that game were great too.

I was hooked on the story as well. Part of me would love to complete it 100% but I have this thing about can't complete games 100% bloody GTA4 can >>>>>>>>> with all the hidden pidgeons.

Feel really guilty about not playing Red Dead more, bro got it for me for Xmas, but when I get the time to play games it's Trials or FIFA at the moment.

It is ace though.

Really loving Trials atm. Bizarre sense of humour in the game, and I unlocked the fantastically difficult levels last night so can see that keeping me busy for a while. I was worried the game wouldn't get as stupidly technical as the first one did in its latter stages, but that was definitely unfounded.

^ Add us to xbox live. I'm not on much these days but a bit of competition over Trials times would be fun.

i used to play a lot of geometry wars retro evolved on PC. Have you got to a million yet? I think i had a couple of high scores over 1 million. People say it stops getting harder after a few million, and there are some youtube videos in the 10s of millions.

I loved the complete brain overload of so much to keep track of and react to. I mostly played with mouse and keyboard (wasd to move, cross-hairs to aim) but the ship doesn't respond directly to direction commands - it kind of swirls around to a new heading and i found that made tight manoeuvring too unpredictable. Also the crosshairs were great to start with but would become lost in the explosions when things got really intense. I bought a dual analog stick controller hoping that would give me finer control over speed and direction and let me switch fire direction without having to find the cross-hairs, but i've never been a console gamer so my thumbs were just too clumsy.

Diablo III - next week can't wait.
