Don't know, I started the thread on 28th September 2009, a mod must have merged another earlier games related thread into this one.

Apologies if this comes across as a bit spammy, but this is the game I've just finished making the music/sound for, Floating Cloud God Saves The Pilgrims:

Some more info:

I'd be really interested in any feedback/opinions once it comes out (next month, I think).
And if anyone has played the previous Dakko Dakko game I worked on (The 2D Adventures of Rotating Octopus Character, also PSP/PS3 Minis) I'd welcome comments/praise/abuse/derision on that.

For all you RTS fans on PCs:
Looks interesting, and a little less zergy and clicky than Starcraft.

Last night went to PS Vita launch party. Tim Westwood verses Chris Moleys on decks (wtf really did go through my head), but hey free bar and I snuck my gf+mate in as well. Rant comes, FREE bar + 5am taxi for plane flight = omfg I feel terrible.
Would I do it again ? Damn straight, I think I rescued my relationship (bit hazy)... but man my head hurt this morning.
Now PS Vita ? If you have cash to burn, buy it. The launch titles are pretty impressive (Escape Plan is awesome). I won't get one for a while as I can't justify the cost... unless I get review copies...

an odd question.. I remember a basic game from playing at school a good few years ago. It was a spaceship game, you had to jump up on to blocks and through tunnels along these tracks, in 3D, hitting spacebar to jump. occasionaly gravity changed and you'd be able to jump higher. level names based on planet names. very basic game but very addictive (at least it was then) I can't remember the name of the game, could anyone help?

Does anyone remember Counter Action? Made by a Russian and Polish games developer if I recall - possibly Nashy Igry?
It was an RTS set on the eastern front during the second world war. It was a bit shit, but given we're talking about a game I played on a 486, 12 years ago, I thought it was decent. Found my old CD copy the other day, but it won't run. Is there some sort of emulator I can get that mimics a shit pc? Doesn't seem to work in Run As Win 98 mode.

Spent 2 hours playing FIFA yesterday, and in that time was called a 'fag' and was told that my mum's a cunt. By a Scotch person. Welcome to Xbox Live, ladies!

went round to my mates house and we both love a bit of retro games, especially the music.
Just found this remix of Mario 64 flying cap music which I am loving

Completed the main quest line for Skyrim yesterday and am level 50.
Starting to get a bit grindy now with all the side quests / civil war / factions / deadric & misc things to do.

I finished Skyrim's main quest the other week, think I was level 45. To be honest I found myself getting less interested after the exploring was done. Still managed plenty of side quests along the way, but have very little inclination to go back and mop up the reast. Also, talking dragons >>>>>>>>>>>>
Made the most of having last week off work and managed to put some decent hours into BF3, making it to Colonel at the weekend. I cheapend my efforts by whoring the last few points in the Operation Metro meatgrider, scoring 25,000 in one round mostly from healing and reviving the ground meat. Next goal is to get my K/D ratio back in the black, currently 0.94 but climbing steadily.
