Now level 33. Rolling with my legendary dragonscale armour and various glass weapons. I noticed that my glass sword seems to do more damage on power attacks than my war axe despite the axe's rating being higher. Both have been fully smithed, and I have the axe portion of the one-handed constellation lit up, but not the sword one. Any explanation? Found fighting dragons at Winterhold fairly easy, there's always a mage or two around to help the cause, and if you stick around the main circle bit the either land on the roof or in the middle of it. They seem to mainly appear when I fast travel, and always at Riverwood!

If there's ever any explanation needed in Skyrim, it's probably 'that's a bug'...

im lvl 23, ended up being a 1 handed, light armour, sneakly little fucker.
Sneak bow attacks through cave systems until i mseen then its either Mace and flames or Mace and Sword
Got some funky sword that steals health from the poor sods im carving up.need to get my pickpocketing up (its practically at base level still) any tips for grinding this up?

I'm at level 25, one handed, heavy armour and destructions perks. Most Dragons are easy to deal with, but Elder Dragon seem to just burn me down, I have shitty fire protection. Running away seems to work though they do give chase. On the way to Markarth is when they seem to attack. Not seen them anywhere else. I used the river to get away.

^^^Thought as much.
^^ Levelled up my sneak so that I do 15x damage using a dagger, and am loving it. there's a few trainers in the Thieves Guild, starting the questline gives you Thieves Guild armour which might help with that sort of thing.

^talkign of sneak - how much is it affected by your partner - do their skills level up with you? When ever I do it it seems Lydia sparks the attention of the enenmy more often than not (although this is normally because she starts attackign them)

You kept Lydia with you? I left her in the castle, I didn't bother buying the place in Whiterun since I was able to stash stuff in houses I got the keys for. e.g. Alva's house. I have like 22k and four or five stashes of stuff hording dragon bits and various other crap. Having a follower on missions sometimes seems to be a hinderance. There are quests where you have no choice, but then it helps they are invincible.

I no longer take followers anywhere if it can be helped. I kept killing them by accident. Fireballs aren't accurate weapons.

Werd, lydia keeps running infront when I'm aiming for a sneak bow kill, and getting hit herself.
I just leave her in the entrance and run back if I need her -

Any chance of a seperate thread for Skyrim?
That way, I don't have to trawl through pages of electronic Dungeons and Dragons type stuff when I look at this one.......not interested in it, but that might just be me. -

A skyrim splinter thread was started, and merged before you could say 'hippy has a level 20 lipid perk'
I suppose that as this is a cycling forum there's no room for video game niche threads -

Only a couple?
Phew that'll be an improvement. I've been months getting here. Been driven nuts on many many occasions in this game -
• #5222
ha, ok - probably more than a couple, but i remember it seamed like a better place than the traps/lizards dudes/rolling balls of Sen's Fortress
-
• #5223
Yes Sens Fortress was dank. The deep-root garden dark and evil, The catcoombs and blight town creepy and cursed
Getting to Anor Lando is like having ones eyes opened and ascending to heaven. The graphics of this game have been consistently superb -

I can't take it, I need to buy Sk'rim now.
