Addicted to online head-to-head on FIFA12 at the moment, the lows are so so low (losing in extra time) but the highs are like crack.

Lined up Red Dead and Skyrim, and a couple of pals got MW3 for Xmas so I'm back on that. Just need to square it with Mrs Glover.... if I'm not back in 24 hours, call for help.

It's no Skyrim, in fact it's hardly a game, but I've been enjoying this.

One of the Zelda ones. Couldn't tell you which one as I haven't a clue what they are called but it's the one that sounds just like the start of Die Zauberer.

I have fireball and lightning bolt as primary distance weapons, and dragonbane sword for up close melee.

Though I kinda cheat, on the PC you can adjust the graphics settings to allow you to see stuff further away (assuming your graphics card can handle this), so I see things and they can't see me, and just lob fireballs at them. I've been doing this for a few days now... fireball everything, and slowly increased to level 80 destruction and have become the Arch Mage of Winterhold College. Everything can pretty much be done with a fireball and enough distance.

So I'm the Thane of everywhere, I'm the unlikely ruler of the College of Mages, the Thieves Guild is restored, as is the Dark Brotherhood and The Companions, and I singlehandedly repelled the entire Empire and killed it's leader. I've got a tame Dragon, a husband, 5 houses, a horse from the depths of hell, about 130,000 gold, and I'm directly responsible for over 1,800 human deaths...

Can't be fucking arsed to finish the final part of the Main quest line - It's going to seem a bit of a let down in comparison

What's the horse? Haven't come across that yet - I restarted after losing my save games when I formatted. Only installed last night but my plan with this toon is to basically be Arya Stark - one handed sword, archery, light armour, sneak, pick-pocket etc.

That's after my last was her father, Eddard, who was a two handed, heavy armoured brute.

One thing I'll note re your accomplishments is that I got very bored of running back and forth doing the thieves guild quests after the main thieves guild quest line was over. I'm sure I was repeating some of them but it didn't seem like the Guild was 'getting restored'.

The Thieves guild I had to Wiki in the end as there was a pitiful lack of info on how to "Become a full member" as the quest says. You have to do enough side jobs for Vex and whats-his-name before you get a quest to stop a rival guild springing up.

Did all the side jobs, Or thought I did- - but never saw the quest stopping the rival guild. Never mind. I'll just have to do it again on this new char.

I'll google the horse :P am fucked if I'm playing through oblivion too to find a clue :)

I did 99 on my last character and didn't get all that stuff done. I'm obviously not a very efficient Rimmer.
