Bioshock 2 almost out, can't wait.

very tempt to get the Special Collector Edition box, but way too much at 200 papers with a queen faces.

Dinner tomorrow night, thats my plan! Quick jaunt out on the bike tonight then back in with a few beers and xbox. I've got a few people who want to play so if theres enough of us we can get a private match in and really make it fun.

I am really liking the Bad Company 2 beta at the moment. That and the God of War I & II HD Collection for PS3.... can't wait for GoW III to come out :D

I'm missed my Pip-Boy 3000

I've been playing a fair bit of Fallout at the moment so this is music to my ears.

Yesterday felt a little like a triumphant alignment of the planets:

1. Girlfriend moves to oxford.
   
2. Complete daily workload early
   
3. Complete tedious house plumbing repair with suprisingly minimal fuss
   
4. Fix amp to allow xbox to run through stereo with zero fuss
   
5. Unexpectedly secure cheap copy of bioshock 2 after completing all the above
   
   

Enjoyed the way the start is effectively the start of system shock 2. Played til 2am, then dreamt about drilling the face of the idiot who knocked me off my bike on monday and drove off (ive got a massive drill for a hand!!!!!!) and still got to work bright eyed and bushy tailed on time this morning.)

I all ready know that the story is going to such me in totally as i spent ages hunting every corner for audio logs. Heres to more proper stories in video games.

I've understood the first one was pretty crap, techwise, but the characters were fucking awesome.

I interviewed the producer and lead designer of the game before they had anything else than the teaser to show. Never did get to play the game -- although I wanted to (changed jobs and had no then-next-gen consoles). Might pick it up for a few notes used, at some point. Or then again, I might not. Unless the sequel requires you to have played the first game, could do w/o the loss of hair caused by crappy controls and bad context sensitivity.

   This either means you have more time to play games, therefore are glad. Or you also live in Oxford and get to spend more time with her, therefore are glad.

Played the multiplayer demo of Aliens vs Predator last night. It's an early build, apparently, and I didn't hold out my hope, but as my pals work for Rebellion, I thought I'd indulge them. It's flawed, but I have to say that scrambling at high speed up walls and ceilings as the xenomorph after marines and predators is jolly good fun.

Oh maaaaan I can't believe I hadn't heard about this yet. I'm now more excited than I have ever been about anything!

I played AVP demo the other night too. Was impressed, your right it does have a few flaws but was generally a good experience, I'm looking forward to the 'hoarde' mode as well which has you seeing how long you can survive against aliens or preds.

I just love the fact that when your Alien or Pred you can do their battle cry.

AvP seemed to have potential but that demo build is pretty fucked up, marines are not going to fair well in mutliplayer i feel.

Apart from the first few seconds, everything is in game. Amazing:
