Sounds like you have a case of Acute Consolitus.

Pcs are for people who want the best graphics, and framerates that arent locked to 30fps.

Also, no console is truly HD yet, 360 and ps3 are both rendered in fairly low resolutions then upscaled by a dedicated chip to a max of 1080p.

I do have a console, but its good for the gf and when your mates are round or something, you just cant beat a FPS on a pc.

Ah, we've found the /root of the problem.

I had a powermac g3 400mhz once, best part of owning it was throwing it into a skip from the balcony when it packed up.

I assume that everyone who plays games on the PC has steam and what not?

Can we create a list of steam user names so I no longer feel 'forever alone' when playing on the pc?

I think it goes by what your current SN on steam is, i cant seem to add spotter300 or machineisbored. Both dont exist, are they both your steam nicknames?

You have to use the account you used to sign up with, either that or the email address associated with that steam ID. If you change your steam nick name that has nothing to do with it.

For example my login ID is spankyz but my steam nickname is spenceey (what people see in games)

If anyone is having a particular problem adding me, send me a PM and i'll tell you my email.

It's the name that appears when you launch steam : a small windows displays "connecting to account : XXXXX". This is your account name
