Also, they used the original score as well as additional music that was created for the film but not actually used.
Hands down the best movie tie-in game, and just a damn amazing game all-round. Also, while it's obviously not the best way to enjoy the game, the Switch port is incredibly solid.

FIFA is to have it’s name changed to EA Sports FC

The sound design is masterful. I'd forgotten how tense it is especially playing on hard.
I've actually modded it to make it look a bit nicer and one of the presets gives it more of an original film hue.

I've gone back to fight'n rage recently - it's so good. hope the new TMNT game steals a bunch of its ideas

i rage quit that game after i ambushed some people with a length of pipe, and tried to pick up their gun. Game wouldn't let me. Fuck that.

I quit after being killed by a xenomorph.
Scared the shit out of me and I was too timid to play again.Do have it on the switch now but never played it.
Might need to fire it up and see if the old nerves hold it together, -

Odd - I've never not been able to pick up something I didn't already have i don't think. That said it does sort of try to restrict you from being too gung-ho. The guns are pretty weak and completely ineffective against the xenomorph and some androids. A shooter it ain't. Also if you play at harder levels things like the flamethrower for warding off the Xeno quickly becomes less and less effective.

I've done it.
It's taken 8,230km over 51 hours, but I've finally got my driving standards high enough to be able to gold all license tests on GT7!
Time for a celebration! -

Congrats, good work!
How you getting on with the Missions and Circuit Experience? :D
-
• #27041
Well done, are you playing on controller or wheel?
I am not very good, it seems, and have scant golds.
Going to give the old G29 a whirl and see if a wheel improves my racing style.

@Brun I've done most the short missions, I don't really have time for the longer ones right now as it's rare that I can sit uninterrupted for a whole hour.
I thought the circuit experiences were a bit of a waste of time as they paid out so little & seemed overly difficult but since they've made them worth a lot more credits & changed something in the handling of the cars to make them easier to achieve I've been doing them as the weekly races change (ie learn the track for that week's races first) - going well now!
@DethBeard still on controller, changed to manual gears, no driving assists (other than ABS on normal) & switched view to roof/top of windscreen view. Each of those changes helped with noticeable improvements.
I would still like a wheel but can't really justify it right now!

Sounds tough. Congratulations!

Having been enjoying replaying Last of Us on PS3, I’m going to go and pick up a PS4 from CeX at the weekend and a copy of LoU2, and I’ve heard Red Dead 2 is pretty essential.
And other game reccos?

god of war

Horizon Zero Dawn, and the sequal. Not played the sequal though.
I also found RDR2 quite boring and never finished it.

Bloodborne
And Dark Souls Remastered & Dark Souls 3Horizon Zero Dawn
Spider-ManAll worth a go
(Edit: I might have HZD & SpiderMan on disc if your interested? Cheaper than CeX but will have to be posted, unless you are in South Essex)

Would agree, although I did see it through. Not a patch on the first.
Second the recommendations for Horizon Zero Dawn. My fav game of the whole generation. Special edition with the Frozen Wilds expansion should be available pretty cheap.

I enjoyed RDR2 but it was definitely in spite of a lot of factors. I think it's worth giving a go still.
+1 to Spiderman and HZD.
I tried god of war but it didn't fully suck me in. I will give it another go some day.
If you are interested in more narrative experiences then the Life Is Strange games are good.
The newer hitman games are good fun.
I liked Star Wars Fallen Order too.
What.a.game.
I downloaded remastered alien 1979 the other day and the first thing that struck me was how faithful the game is in terms all the little sounds, beeping etc, that are in the film.
Really nice touch.
Also the film has aged fantastically, except from the chest bursting alien
