  • Anyone recommend a good two player game for the PS3 (as in two pads, one TV, none of this Internet malarky)? Something actionny, just fun to play with beers and mates on the sofa. Cheers.

    Little big Planet!

  • My brother was van driving a few years back, and on his travels managed to buy up loads of Dreamcast games that Gamestation was selling off for as little as 50p. Some of them are going for like £30 each now.

  • Little big Planet!

    +1. I need to get a ps3 just for this :P

  • yeah, gone back to MW2 myself, i prefer it to Black Ops

  • Just finish Farcry 2.

All I can says is... meh.

it's enjoyable, but the story is a bit confusing at time and doesn't quite make sense.

You're confusing Ed, you rarely make sense but you're thoroughly enjoyable.

As for Far Cry 2, that's the One set in Africa right? I quite liked it. It had a lot of promise for interesting content but you're right, it didnt quite deliver. Also a big shift from the scifi of The first game.

  • Didn't deliver pretty much summed it up nicely.

Now time to start Fallout: New Vegas, decided to play that one instead of III or even II since everyone was saying it's quite good, seemed to be a bit of a steep learning curve at the start but I'll probably get the hang of it soon (especially the Pip-boy).

  • I used to love playing Morrowind and Oblivion. I quit them for a long time, got sucked in with Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas and played the hell out of them.

Got a bit tired of Fallout New Vegas and returned to Fallout 3 and I'm pretty sure I prefer that one. New Vegas is fun and quite cool, I just liked the ruined city and desperate landscapes of Fallout 3 more. Maybe it's because I lived in Nevada and the post-apocalyptic version isn't that much more interesting.

I recently returned to Oblivion and have been messing about in it, but it's not really doing it for me anymore. I actually think Morrowind is more interesting and will probably give that a go again soon.

  • Maybe it's because I lived in Nevada and the post-apocalyptic version isn't that different.

    fixed.

it's my first fallout games, I suppose it's a good start for me to get the hang of it.

liking it insofar, just need to figure out how to repair weapons.

  • Ah, so is New Vegas not related to Fallout 3 then?

  • according to their wiki it's not.

  • seperate story set in the same universe. Like Mobile Suit Gundam, Gundam 0080 and Gundam 0083. And Gundam: Char's Counter-attack. And Zeta Gundam.

    But not Gundam Wing.

  • Like Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite.

    Kinda.

  • No, because they aren't in the Gundam universe.

  • qckpckt repped

  • nerd

  • There's a new game out that looks awesome. Homefront looks like something to get your teeth into
