I am basic and have gone back to Dark Souls Remastered.
Whilst having clocked up 200+ hours on the Switch, I have yet to beat it on the PlayStation, so after Demon's Souls I have decided to do all the souls games.
Doing a filthy casual Dex build, and just got to Anor Londo (having dispatched with Painted World en route)
I forgot the Archer bastards are bastards.
Twice I got pinged off with arrows, then I managed to roll through, and get a parry/riposte (with camera clipping through the wall)

Never been so happy to see Solaire at a bonfire (not true, I always love seeing Solaire, if only I could be so grossly incandescent)

Yeah, can't wait for it. Only wish they were on skates but that's a pretty small dissapointment.

Sunset overdrive is another one to add to the list of decent grind your way around the city games.

Snowrunner on Gamepass; feel like it's something I can lose my life to...

This is one I skipped over as it came out in the time I was only playing stuff on my Mac. Seen it's on gamepass as it's a MS Studios game so downloading it now to have a look at this week.

it can take a little while to grasp the controls but once you are flying around it's pretty good fun.

Finally completed Dying Light.

What a game. Really really enjoyed that. Good news is now its the DLC.

PS5 in stock at Amazon right now...

I cracked the 3k barrier in Arena. Now I just need to do it in battle royal too

Playing Ori and the Blind Forest on Switch.
So frustrating, the platforming.
I hate platforming though the 'get good' philosophy instilled in me from dark souls has made me more determined.
Also the look and sound of the game is so gorgeous and compensates being crushed by this effing boulder for the 650th time

You playing handheld? I think it's a pretty tough game with the switch analogue sticks.

If you can play through the TV, it'll be much easier with the pro controller.

If you're playing with the pro controller already then git gud.

Seems a bit extravagant to purchase a new Series X / S to try and beat a game you're not enjoying but that's an option :-D

I finished the first one few weeks ago, and yes, some of the platforming sections were on harder side, but nothing too crazy.

As Soul said, I can't imagine playing it on Switch Lite analogues.

Came to terms with the reality that I'll never be able to but a next generation PC video card so pulled the trigger on an Xbox series S (only console available). Should come tomorrow. Bit excited, but also disappointed that the hardware world is as fucked as it is.

Read over the weekend that Metro Exodus on PC now supports the PS5 controllers fancy haptic triggers.

Bit of a weird one since only an idiot would play an FPS on PC with a controller (unless they're in front of the TV I suppose), but hopefully other devs will take advantage as well. I've always defaulted to xbox controllers on PC, but could be persuaded to switch over something like this.

Might actually get hold of one with a PS5 before the end of the year.
