FTL is amazing ,as is Into the Breach.

Currently wrecking my productivity to Slay the Spire.

Syndicate used to be one of my absolute favourites, was awful at it though.

Satellite Reign is a cool modern take on the Syndicate formula, excellent soundtrack too.

This is what I'm working with for the forseeable future!

Yeah Syndicate was really hard... back when all games were hard.

I imagine Disco Elysium should work on a laptop pretty well, I'm just starting a second playthrough - it's an insanely good rpg.

Was always pretty good at looking after stuff. Must have got this in 88 or 89.

Surprised this works. The GameBoy does not, unfortunately. I remember some lines not working on the screen, but it must have just died in hibernation. Will have to find a replacement so I can play all the games again.

Fuck yeah, best Gameboy games.
Original Pokemons may still be fun too.

that T2 GB game was nails

There's a bit of a modding scene for old gameboys I think. Backlit screens and such. Plenty of vids on YouTube

on that note, Warbits on iOS is very Advance Wars-y if you're after something similar

!!! Thanks for this. I dug out my old Advance Wars GBA cart last Xmas but playing without a backlight was killing me and the eBay prices for a gameboy micro were steeeeeep. Will give this a look.

Have you played through Into The Breach? Not really the same, but the switch is a good format for it. I put a lot of hours into it waiting for a child to pop out earlier this year.

Gonna play Call of the Sea later, suspect to pull my hair out because I've not touched a puzzle game in years...
