I would like to unlock the laser beam, I mean grau, but I don't have multiplayer.
Got two duos wins on Friday night, but with my 17 year old brother who carried me the whole way
One game he got 17 kills to my 1... -

Grau nerf on the way

I can't remember how I unlocked it - why do you have to have multiplayer? Doesn't it just unlock when you get to a certain level?
I feel duos is probably the most winnable if you've got someone you can talk with - you're not going to get swarmed like quads but it also mitigates a lot of the camping issues.

TLOU2 is great.
Wasn’t 100% feeling it first hour or so, but at 19h playtime and it’s breathtaking in every possible way.

From PC Gamer 5 days ago:
"There are a few weapons that require you to complete specific challenges in order to access them. To unlock the Grau 5.56, you need to get five kills in a minute when using an assault rifle 25 times.
It's a steep task, but you can make quick work of it if you own CoD: Modern Warfare. Simply hop into Multiplayer with an assault rifle like the M4A1 or M13 and begin stacking eliminations. Maps like Rust and Shipment are an ideal size for storming through the challenge as players spawn close together.
Accessing the Grau as a free-to-play Warzone player is significantly harder. It's best to wait for a free Multiplayer weekend to grind through these types of challenges. While trying to unlock the Grau in regular Warzone and Plunder matches is technically possible, it's extremely difficult and not worth your time." -

5 kills in a minute.
25 times. -

Piece of cake on Shipment only map rotation.
-
• #22734
Oh that's difficult, I think it just unlocked at a level in season 2.
Like it says I guess the multiplayer weekends are the way to do it then - super easy in shipment. Or hopefully the nerf will balance it out a bit.The new AR is dominating multiplayer at the moment - seems like everyone is using that or the fennec!

Fennec is super nice if you are really close range, think akimbo pistol range. But mid range the mp7 still rips much better and when you can have a 60 round clip in the mp7 that purple tracer pack for an mp7 and Grau just gives so much in the game right now. Also those Made in Japan skins on the purple tracers are so so nice.
I have 27 wins now and a 1.15 career KD ratio. Trying to get the latter up is a bit of a slog as I used to do helicopter recons and camp when solos first dropped.
I was really keen on Duos but my best mate plays very defensively and even if I've cracked the armour on a duo but been knocked, he wont rush them to finish them off, he'll run around in a wide rotation trying to get behind them lol smh.

I've been enjoying quite a lot of Hunt:Showdown with friends lately.
Intense game. Gunplay feels vastly different than any other shooter I've played to date. The Audio mechanic of the game makes one extremely paranoid. Love it. -

Anyone else notice the Apex servers seem to be real shitty recently?

I do get a lot of stuttering in some games even with a solid internet connection

Well damn, this looks a lot more promising than I was expecting...
Looks good. Looks like Tie Fighter bought up to date, which is very good.

TLOU2 is a fucking epic.
Just finished it. It's different to the first but the same. It definitely takes you on a long and wild ride.
on moderate difficulty I never felt totally overwhelmed but did die quite a few times and it gets the balance just right I was shitting my pants every time I entered a room but was never actually outmatched when the shit eventually does hit the fan. the c-words are absolute c-words though.
Also now I can read online it's apparently triggering the fuck out of the red pillers because Female empowerment mostly. I'd say all of the criticism (which is all super spoiler heavy, beware) is mostly down to fragile egos and largely unfounded.
It's not perfect but it is very good.

Of course they're triggered, it's the fastest selling PS4 game ever in physical media and that doesn't fit their "go woke go broke" strap line.

BoJack died in RDR2, I'm genuinely a bit upset.
-
• #22743
Is that your horse? I was devastated when 007 got hit by a train (for the 3rd time) and I didn't have any horse reviver. RIP.
-
• #22744
Yeah, I'm not even sure how it happened, I'm sure I rode Eagle flies back to his dad on Bojack but when I woke up after a coughing fit Bojack was gone and I was back on the starting shitter. Went and got a new top of the range Arabian in all black, which is cool but just didn't feel right, we'd been through a lot
-
• #22745
Oh god yeah, I was robbing a train and accidently called my horse, he ran up then got squished between the train and the barriers on the side of a bridge, insta-death, it was traumatic.
-
• #22746
I have an irrational hatred of horses, I may have to try out this equine murder simulator
-
• #22747
Yeah I'm not keen IRL either, had far too many ridden at me. The bond I had with 007 though... It goes beyond species.
-
• #22748
My biggest gripe with TLOU2 but moreso Naughty Dog themselves is how you're forced to interact with the doggos. worst part of the game.
-
• #22749
By shooting them in the head?
-
• #22750
bond ... 007
stirring stuff
were you shaken when he died?
The grau does need sorting yes, difficult though as it's fine in multiplayer just wz is the issue. I can't complain too much though - I use it too!
