Having been away from gaming (PC) for years I've been rather plowing through some older stuff recently. Enjoyed Far Cry 5 till it got samey. Got bored of GTAV fairly quickly although I'll certainly go back. Same with Assassins Creed Odyssey. Loved Dishonoured 2 and currently finishing off Prey which is awesome (as a fan of System Shock 2).
Any suggestions for what I try next? Are the newer Fallouts any good? Anyone played Sekiro?

Personally loved fallout 4.
Not played F76 but doesn't sound greatKingdom Come Deliverance for me lived up to the hype as a Kickstarter funded medieval RPG type game. Did enjoy. Currently playing the last DLC.
Heard good things about sekiro, never played those type games before, dark souls etc, but certainly heard good
The Witcher 3 is a must.

If you get the Game Pass Ultimate for £1 thing it converts any existing Gold subscription time into Game Pass Ultimate time. So I appear to have GP Ultimate till 2022 for £1 (had already maxed Gold time on a previous deal).

How does this work? Do you have to buy Xbox Live Gold for the amount of time you want then do the conversion to Game Pass Ultimate?

Play Sekiro. It's deep and the next iteration of sward based game mechanic.
Has a metroidvania type progression where new abilities and arm gadgets Warren returning to earlier areas.
Looks and sound pretty awesome too -

I think so yes, at least, I don't know what happens if you try adding some normal Gold time after you've done the conversion.
I had a big load of Gold subscription (till 2022) in there when I did the conversion, and it appears to have all been switched.

Just had a peek at my stats and got 800hrs between W3 and FO4, also recently found the stats section of GTA:O and have a literal month of playtime. Those are pretty much the only games I've played in recent years but still a bit of an eye opener

That does look promising. Been fucking ages since a decent Star Wars game.

There’s something about the gameplay videos that come out during e3 that make me happy. Finally getting a chance to see how a game plays and what you can do in the environment that’s been built is much more exciting than teaser trailers.

Before I buy an RX 590 to replace my HD 7900, does anyone had anything 2nd hand that they're looking to shift?

Nintendo Switch Lite looks interesting. Always thought the Vita would be the last console I'd ever buy (and to be honest, it probably is), but having an actually portable modern console is tempting.

Yeah, just shocked that there's NO way to plug into TV. Not worth the cost saving IMO.

I barely plug my Switch into TV.
And I do own a proper controller for it. There just is something about Nintendo handheld gaming.
If I wouldn’t have Switch, I’d probably go with the Lite.

Its slightly smaller also? Which would be a win for me. I'm always a bit shocked how big the Switch is when I see one in the flesh

Occasionally wished I could plug my Vita into a monitor, but pretty damn rarely.
I imagine if you're used to the Switch's TV/handheld capability it might seem like something is missing. But, to someone buying it as a handheld, I don't think it's a dealbreaker. Certainly not for me.

Despite my initial thoughts, I reckon I'd actually buy one. I rarely play my Xbox because sitting down in front of the TV when I'm alone is a rarity. This way, I wouldn't have to ever hog the TV and it's lighter than the original Switch and presumably easier to hold. I've been wanting to play Super Mario Odyssey since it came out, maybe this is the perfect opportunity....
Yeah it looks great fun.
