  • Had a quick blast on Left 4 Dead 2 last night, 8-player Scavenge. There really is no finer feeling than a well executed demolition of your opposition.

  • getting a little bored of black ops multiplayer already only had the game a week or two.

any tips for not getting bored

Sounds great, I love it when the other team get no cans what so ever, so satisfying.

Oh and the spitter has to be my favourite special infected.

I had the same problem, try playing different game modes, or just play a different game for a while then it will be great when you go back to it.

The one with the bandstand and the three cans in the tunnel. People still run in there en masse, only to be treated to a liberal showering of bile. See also: dragging people into the toilet block with the jockey and none of their friends coming to help. A lonely death!

  • You'll all be back to MW2 in no time.

  • I'll have to try that, with the boomer I'm usually some kind of mutant suicidal bomber anyway.

I love it when a survivor drops a can and you spit on it only for it to burn on fire, pisses people off so much.

    as in the last one?

have to say it had better sniper levels. I find the levels on Black Ops a bit too close quarters generally

  • Battlefield is the best game to snipe in, call of duty games have never really catered to snipers.

  • Private matches with your mates, snipers and knives only, slow, quiet, tense, total WIN.

  • On a side note, I brought Mass Effect 1 & 2 earlier in the year, really haven't played much of them I can't bring myself to it.

Does anyone else have problems like this sometimes with games?

  • Bought GTA IV, wanted to play it but was a chore to bother, then got bored quickly, then sold it. Had to let go.

    you didn't miss much

Yes. It's why I can't have too many games which are unbeaten at any given time.

Once I'd hijacked a chopper and crashed it into the sea, I considered the game completed.

  • I miss some of the old maps from the original COD4 I have to say.

COD4 2 - I played a lot of but didn't end up buying all the map packs.

COD Black Ops - playing a fair bit, but I think I need to get in with a team and get some teamwork shizzle going

  • Bought Lego Batman yesterday. It's ace; funny, easy main missions but loads of hidden puzzles and it was only £10! :-D

  • COD 4 easily has the best designed maps in the whole series, MW2 the levels had too many places to camp though there were some corkers. Black Ops there are some absolute stinkers.Treyarch have obviously learnt from the sprawling levels of WaW, but now there's too many choke points all bunched up.

  • Just played this awesome lil flash game on Newgrounds called OneChance, and is named so due to the fact your only allowed to play it once (unless you delete your browser cache)

Based on the short story of a Biochemist with a cure for most known illnesses, but consequently brings about the end of the world and death to all living beings in 6 days.

Def up there in top 5 flash games i've wasted my life playing. It almost didn't feel like a waste.

  • I'd say choke points a fairer to nubes and average players as it provides them with a load of other front line players to hide behind. No matter how much I play, the open, 360 degree maps still gives me The Fear, there are a couple in MW2 where it's impossible to totally cover your back. The only option is to RUN RUN RUN! Total heart attack stuff. That's why it's one of the best games evar.

  • It was no vice city or san andreas, loading up tank and stealing trains to fight the army, i don't think i've ever completed one of these. So much more fun to just blow shit up and buy cars.

Very true, though maps like Wasteland and Derail were just not my cup of tea, all the fighting ended up focused in specific areas which got boring and predictable. I have always been a rusher, using shotguns and SMGs so the smaller levels like favela, highrise, scrapyard and salvage were always my favourites. I always hated LMGs, think I went the whole of playing MW2 without using one, apart from the AUG, but thats an assault rifle anyway...

  • Everyone knows that!

Huh? You commented on my Mass effect post talking about GTA?
