There are still new games coming out without autosave - Persona 5 for example. Very weird design choice.

Finally got round to finishing God of War. Must be the first time I've completed the story of a game in quite some time, maybe even since The Last of Us. Deeply satisfying. Bit of time to do the extra bits and bobs before RDR2.

Finished God of War myself this week, purchased with a new ps4 pro last tuesday and found it to be brilliant. Like you, first game ive finished in a while, highly engaging and enjoyable.
I was surprised when it ended as the map said i was 31% done and i felt like it could go on forever.
Do i newgame+, kill valykries, go full platinum trophy hunting or move on? -

Happy to help. My go to is usually an i3 and a 160. The Ryzen might be a better choice though.
It still holds up really well to this day, benefit of a simple aesthetic and solid mechanics I guess!
But yeah, lack of autosave can be an eye-opener when going back to older games. Recently went back to the old Tomb Raider trilogy and you can't save just anywhere, only in pre-defined locations (at least in 1, in 3 you could collect 'Save Crystals' then spend them whenever you wanted).
Kids these days have it so easy... ;)
