Good excuse to get a Vita though ;)

Finally stopped wandering around and kicked through the last few Witcher 3 quests last night. Apparently there are about 40 endings, but got a 'good' one. Not much else to do apart from ticking off the questions marks on the maps (mainly just treasure guarded by muppet creatures who're easily walloped) or play Gwent (all my decks are pretty much unbeatable now).

So, at a loose end for xbone games until Red Dead comes out. Having loved Witcher, Skyrim, Tomb Raider, Red Dead, what're the best options?

don't bother with the sea treasures around skellige, there's fuck all in them.

there is also a really high level griffin on an island almost directly north of where you spawn into skellige in case you haven't found the bastard yet.

The new Assasins Creed (origins) is the best since Black Flag.

Looks fucking beautiful and loads to do. I completed all locations in just under 80 hours but i've still got 30 or so side quests to do and a whole DLC.

Sneaking around with a bow killing people is great fun.

Love pottering round Skellige, the grumpy bastard hardcases with Norn Iron accents crack me up.

Also, when the credits were rolling last night, noticed that the voice actor for Dijkstra was Richard Hawley.

Will take a look at AC - tried one years ago but got bored, can't remember which. Sneaky bow killing ftw (Skrim, Crofty).

I was quite happy with my ending until I looked it up and found out it was one of the bad ones.

Horizon Zero Dawn.

Slipped under my radar initially but I got the DLC-included version sometime before xmas and have put 80 hours into it since then. Also a bit of a slow start, but it's fantastic.

Edit: Just read xbox one. Above is a good excuse to buy a PS4 :)

The DLC is goooood but the world feels a bit broken without Geralt’s mates in it.

Go nightmare mode with enemy auto level. Get killed by everything.

Early cod/cs vibes

Looks like a remade version of Enemy Territory, which I used to love. I hope it's not expensive.

Only a tenner in early access, not a ton of content yet though.

Is Prey any good?
I'd be playing it on the PS4.
I noticed it didn't sell well on launch and has had a number of price drops since launch.
Unsure if that was due to poor sales or just being shit.

Not played it, heard great things, has Dishonored/System Shock vibes (same dev I think).

hitman absolution makes for great stealther pistol action. also you get to poison / garotte / crush / electrocute / explode / push people off things etc. if that's what steams your onions.

I've spent bits and pieces this weekend mostly on the opening Chinatown level. So many options. Hella good fun. Looks like this might keep me occupied for a while.
