red zones are places you don't want to be out in the open because bombs fall from the sky, they last about 30 seconds.

You don't keep anything. You can use that gold to buy a box when you've got enough, you usually won't come away with 600 though, more like 200, and the cost of them ramps up quickly. Not that it's worth it, I've bought 3 so far and only got a couple of pairs of trousers and a pair of shoes exactly the same as those you start with.

ok, cool. just died at 52 so only made 60 or so. I was racing some guy on a motorbike across the bridge (I was in a UAZ), he beat me and bailed and fired as I drove towards him. I died but he got run over. much lel.

my favourite tactic at the moment is landing right in front of someone who has also just landed and they've picked up a gun.

Shame, just did some solid snake killing but the zone shrank and I was on other side of map. Am currently running hoping to out run it to save my auto vss...

literally just ran across the map chasing the tin-foil sky stuff. found a couple of medkits which sustained me and made it to the last 11 but died outside of zone. I guess you've just got to jump out either near a vehicle or near the middle of the map to avoid that kind of thing.

I was put off by those too. But they're mainly complaining about being reported by streamers which makes me think it's largely just spam. Overall the steam reviews are mostly positive and it's just a recent batch that's negative.

Rounds seems short and exciting so far. Can imagine lots of replay value. Also like the idea of a fair starting point - i.e. no professional grinders with top kit ruining it for new players.

27 seems oddly reasonable. 30 I'd struggle with. If you're unsure now and it's ever in the sales I'd say definitely worth it.

Honestly, no. I'd pay £20 for it. The only reason I have it is I sold some skins I had won in CS for more than expected.

I'd definitely get my money's worth out of it.

Thankfully I'm not able to run it as I imagine I'd frequently end up staying up to 4am playing.

Buy it on Steam, try it, if you don't like it refund it within 2 hours of playtime.

Ugh - somehow I was the only one that parachuted right over the military base - got really well kitted out and SOMEHOW lucked out by having the mil base be the final 'zone' so pretty much just camped in the tower with the VSS and a machine gun the whole match. Sniped 2 that came near but the last 'zone' was a bit outside of my area so I crawled over. Had someone in my sights looking the other way. I shot full auto, hit him several times, then he ran around and shot me with a scar-l. Bastard.

What do you mean in dayz? Have they changed the game or something?
