they probably powered through zelda in a few weeks and are waiting for some new games.

What's the battery life of a Switch like?
I may be changing jobs and ditching the motorbike for a train to commute on, so may need light entertainment for the trudge.

I took mine on a couple of long flights recently.

Even with a 'heavy' game like Zelda or Mario Kart, I was getting around 3h 30m.

Can you charge it from a battery pack? I seem to remember reading before launch that might not have been possible

Yup. I have a 20,000mah USB battery and it charges it fine.

For games like Zelda, you'll need one that pushes a higher current through 2.1amp rather than 1amp otherwise it can't charge quick enough for you to use it at the same time.

Cheers @soul would probably be looking at an hour each way plus a bit of lunch time action, so daily charge isn't too bad.
