I got my copy around 2006/7 and then bought it again on Steam in 2012 after sinking hundreds of hours in.
They announced Bannerlord/Banterlord/Butterlord in 2012 I believe. Although it's now got a steam page no one is expecting a release before February 2017 but progress is progress is progress.

That game was pretty good but that level was by far the best. Much like the the first level of Medal Of Honor Front Line.

heh there's not much point in buying out dated hardware ;)
But the PS4 Slim is a really good deal at the new price point

Oh hell yeah..

I think the Switch looks awesome.

it looks like it needs a lot of athletic, attractive young 'mates' who do all manner of outdoorsy things in order to maximise its USP. something tells me their market research might be a little... idealised.

kids going to school and messing around in lunchbreaks. they'll be fine.

Exactly. It just needs to have local multiplayer with 5 a side Splatoon or mario kart or whatever.

The most 'waterfall' looking product I have ever seen.

I'll be buying one, 100%. May also start taking the bus to use it too.

Personally I think it looks pretty awesome. Haven't been this tempted to buy a console since the DS/Vita.
I'm still a tad surprised Valve haven't attempted a handheld yet. That'd be a hell of a gamechanger!

Yeah, was very sceptical about the nx in theory but actually like the look of it in practice. Marketing ay?

• #15942
It does look pretty cool.

Xbox one or ps4? I currently have an xbox 360 (had it for years, not used it much) and my little brother's old ps3 (playing red dead redemption on it at the mo'). I fancy getting a new console but don't know much about console gaming or which is better...
Guess I'll wait until black Friday to buy one or the other of the new consoles but no idea which to go for. Currently internet where I am is unusably slow for online stuff but should be improving next year.

really it just depends on the games you want to play on it if it includes any platform specific. otherwise it's much of a muchness. both have decent games, do media centre duties well and share pretty much the same apps/features.
the xbone has backward compatibility now for games you've purchased for 360 if you have any titles you may want to play again and want to ditch the 360 altogether.

That's Skyrim on that there NS ad. Since when did Nintendo have Skyrim?

Since Joy-Con™

There's stuff like the nvidia shield, but that's streaming.
I don't think you're going to get pc level hardware in a handheld.

Doesn't the Shield just run Android though? I mean there's the Razer Edge, but that looks like it needs a few more years of polishing before it's likely to take off. My 3 year old Surface Pro 2 can manage to run GTAV and MGSV at 30fps (albeit at 720p), so I don't think it's too far beyond the realms of possibility.
I mean we're not going to be cramming a pair of Titans in a GBA case anytime soon but having a decent chunk of your Steam library in your pocket would be pretty awesome

Looks interesting but I've lost faith in Nintendo, not delivering a Zelda game for the Wii U is pretty lame... Having to scramble through the SNES/Wii back catalogue for games to play is a bit shit... Fun for a bit, but ultimately, shit...
I'll probably still buy one...

It does. I have one. Not sure about the point of the Steam app. Will have to investigate in more detail.
Search reddit for Butterlord.
Or don't :/
