Agreed. I lasted and hour, maybe two max? If some cool shit hasn't happened by then, fuck that, life is too short. I'd rather be reliving my youth playing a remake of games of my youth (e.g. Uncharted or Mariokart 8).

Incidentally I want to remind everyone that Mariokart 8 is the best game of all time, especially now you can block blue shells.

Warcrafts terrible mix of CG orcs and RL Humans is terrible, why not just CG the whole lot

Is Mount & Blade any actual good? I love all your Skyrims and your Oblivions with the orcs and the goblins and the ridiculous evil wizards and all that shit. M&B is like Skyrim without any of that, right? What's the draw?

You can chop people's arms off

It's heaven.

It's cheap and repetitive and doesn't look great but is immense fun.

Multiplayer is hilarious.

They've also got a great mod community with some really good free content.

It's a bit like the Total War series, the non fantasy bits of Skyrim and some other stuff.

And yes, you can chop people's arms off and ride around on horseback shooting arrows at people on the other side of the map. You can try running around solo or build and train/upgrade an army to follow you. Terrain actually matters in terms of the battles (get some archers to high ground and you've won). There's also all the political side of it - you can be some existing king or queen's top general or you can have a go at it yourself and take your own land or you can usurp a kingdom on behalf of another. All sorts.

They announced Bannerlord (which was supposed to be a version with an actual budget and new engine and properly functioning politics rather than the watered down version) about 4 years ago.

I'm more excited about it than any other release since my 700 odd Skyrim hours.

How many hours to pilots need to qualify?

I'm not sure skyrim helps pilots at all.

If your aim was to fly planes you've wasted a huge amount of time.

Nearly 24 hours for Fallout 4.
