I also hugely enjoyed Hitman Absolution when it was free on Gold a few weeks back.

I've never been much of a stealth game fan, but I really enjoyed Splinter Cell: Blacklist. The mechanics were just really fun (except towards the end when it became a laser dodging game for a short while. I don't get why games do this - you get used to gameplay and then to mix things up, they radically change what you're being asked to do). Silently taking people out was really satisfying. I wish there had been more levels.

Ah haven't played blacklist, but definitely got my money's worth out of conviction.
There are a few levels like that in Hitman Absolution, but overall it had enough of the old Hitman 'don't get seen, don't kill anyone' in it to entertain me while being surprisingly tolerant of the 'kill everyone with big guns' approach. -

Getting back into Pokemon X, about to take on the 8th gym, then thinking about the Elite Four.
I'm thinking about taking an Eeveelution party for E4.
I have Sylveon and Umbreon at Lv67 and I have: flareon, jolteon, vaporeon being leveled up (currently low 20s) I'm getting Leafeon ans Glaceon later (hopefully)
Of the 8 what 6 should I take?
Umbr, Sylv, Flare, Glace, Leaf & Jolt? -

I recommend you take some drugs and go and sit in the park for a bit.

It's wet out, can I take drugs and stay in?

I did play Mario kart DS yesterday. I've been spoilt by modern phone screens, I'm sure the DS never used to look so shit.

Spent a good few hours on Day Z.
Fell off a crane, died, very annoyed.
Started again, built up great kit, walked into a room, got shot beforeI even saw a person, on a "friendly" server, lame.
Was about to bin it all off when some nice German lad popped up and we teamed up. He gave me a bunch of spare kit to get me back on m feet and we set off. He then decided to bail but wanted me to kill him. He stripped off and ditched all his kit while I stabbed him to death. Odd.
Next up, bumped into a Northern lad who was dead good at knocking zombies down with one punch (a northern trait I've found) and we were off somewhere good until a single zombie somehow killed us both... despite us killing many more before and not taking any hits... go figure.
He then told me how is girlfriend of 5 years left him.
I'm 50/50 with Day Z atm. I feel it needs more zombie based combat, and more goals... -

Do you play with the steering wheel or the the D-Pad? I couldn't get on with the motion controller.
-
• #11422
D-pad, that's why I hated the Wii version...
-

you could use a D pad with the Wii one too

Couldn't get it to work on mine, might have to try again in that case...
Maybe with a normal controller i.e. not a Wii one...
Admittedly the music levels are an end-of-world reward, not every level. But the levels themselves offer some varied, tight and refined platforming fun. And the game is huge, there's a whole previous rayman game inside it as unlockable bonus levels.
