  • Does anyone play Need for Speed most wanted on the ps3? (it was PS+'d a while back)
Need a little help trophy whoring.
I need someone to befriend me on psn, join me in an online race and let me smash into you.
    I will reciprocate.
    PSN: Bluet0nes
    Cheers gangsters.

  • Good.
What do you need to install then? Stuff like DirectX, Visual C++, .net Frameworks etc.?

Nah, it's their extra shit - Sony copy protection bullshit and social club (although I patched it and this removed the need for social club).

Still, it was quicker unzipping a 13-disc span of Descent than this bullshit.

I've basically lost interest before I even began. Might have another look in a day or so. Presume it's a video card conflict or maybe old DWreckedX.

  • Would you like to borrow an xbox and gta4 so you can just get on with it?

  • Hehe it might come to that. I should never have stopped Duke Nukem 3D and NFS2 or whatever it was at in about '98.

  • just download a clean version and play.

  • Relieve yourself of all the pain and play Diablo II.

  • Piracy has a lot going for it when you put it next to 'legitimate' installation.

  • Don't think I ever got into Diablo. It's a bit too fantasy for my liking. I prefer 1st person shooters or racing games.

  • How about the latest Tomb Raider. Don't judge it too fast by it's name, it really is an enjoyable game.

Or if you want some brainless shooting, get Unreal Tournament 3. Even the demo ,which is free to download, is good enough for some reckless action.

  • Oh how could I forget the greatest trilogy in gaming history.

    Mass Effect. Simply perfect.
I would still be writing tomorrow if I would start writing about it's amazingness. So if you're interested (which you should be) check out this review and the trailer below.

  • Sounds good but too involved for me.

  • Sounds good but too involved for me.

  • tomb raider is depressing. 1 endless brown level.

  • some of it was grey and white!

Well the revamped Tomb Raider looks amazing... but I'm not paying $60 for the same game (next gen console only too I believe)

  • Sounds good but too involved for me.

Bioshock 1 & Infinte. I'm sure you can get Bioshock 1 for like 3 quid these days if you look around

After being used to the excellent storyline of Half Lifes, Portals, Bioshocks, Fallouts, even Left 4 Dead etc. Tomb Raider felt very much like those shitty adventure movie (not dissimilar to Far Cry 3).

I enjoyed it immensely, but the weak storyline really does bother me, like no one can be bothered to write it properly, just copy it from an old action film.

"You're strong Lara, you CAN do it".

Every time, every single fucking time.

  • Nobody cares for Mass Effect? Shame on you!

  • Actually I'll get onto it soon, previously doesn't look interesting to me, great thing about the timing is that I don't have to wait for the next version to come out.

  • Still need to play 3, 1 was good, didn't even realise I'd played 2 and was actually waiting to play it before picking up 3 then saw I'd played it on my achievements. /csb

  • ^^Meaning you won't play the first?

The beautiul and very unique thing of this game, is that your actions have very much influence on your future game experience. You take your character from ME1 through to ME2 and later to ME3.

  • I thought no matter what you do, the end result is still the same in ME?

  • everyone dies.
