am I (and my friend) the only numpties who forget to put stuff in a plastic bag???
Always with the bags.
Sometimes go for the double bag, most likely to explode item in one carrier bag, the rest of you goodies in another, place MLTE* with the other items, then put it in your main bag.
That's a whole lot of bagging but it works.

Freeze the soup, then defrost it in the Electro-Defroster at work?

• #9
putting your soup in a carrier bag first minimizes damage...

This isn't just a bag; this is KattieP's red lentil and tomato flavoured bag, oozing with sticky goodness.
Warning: bag may contain a ruined phone.

Anything that can leak, will leak.
I always use plastic bags. Works the other way too - keeping stuff when it's raining and you are in/out of your bag all the time..

one bag for the thing that will leak
one bag for the things you are protecting (e.g. clean shirt) -

Ok; KattieP shops at M&S; Balki shops at Waitrose. Anyone had any mishaps on the way home from Fortnum and Mason?

I only buy chickens from Waitrose. All my other food comes from Papa Johns.

Waitrose sells big jars of Vegemite and a fantastic selection of beers. M&S sell loads of own brand shit.

What's wrong with using a flask?
Right, so as if Mondays aren't a big enough struggle in themselves... I get to work this morning to find my M&S red lentil soup has exploded in my bag on my cycle in. I wont' be tasting the difference today - there is none left.... instead it is covering todays change of clothes, diary, phone, wallet - the lot... all caked in squished up orangeness.
20 mins later the bag is kind of clean but smelly and I'm in a right mood trying to find something in my desk draws to wear.
My friend came round the other week for a bit of a cook off - he arrived with an eggy messenger bag... not fun.
Is the phenomenon of stuff exploding during commute a common occurance OR am I (and my friend) the only numpties who forget to put stuff in a plastic bag???
