Went for a specialized airnet in white, mainly because of massive discount and it looking like a badger
-
• #1203
Of the three, s-works evade, giro synthe or kask protone?
-
• #1204
And where can I try them on?
-
• #1205
Whichever fits best. Sigma?
-
• #1206
If you want aero, the Ballista is cheap(ish) at Sigma
-
• #1207
Not especially. Just less mushroomy and the evade is cheaper than the other two
-
• #1208
don't get an evade
-
• #1209
ok. Just because I'd look like a twat or coz they're crap? I'd rather not an aero looking one anyway. It was just cheap
-
• #1210
get the one that fits
-
• #1211
It's really fast but makes you look like a twat.

• #1212
Do it!
-
• #1213
Synthe is mad comfy but haven't tried the others
-
• #1214
then you have a narrow head which rules out Kask.
-
• #1215
They more "round"?
-
• #1216
yep, could never get my head into the biggest Giro/Spesh but can easily fit into medium Protone
-
• #1217
I was medium Specialized Prevail and am medium Kask Protone. Slightly less room for a cap in winter, but still fits me fine.
-
• #1218
Might just get the rapha one. It'll be cheaper than the giro if I can get discount from a mate

I've made another road helmet. Amazing bang for the buck, atmo ;)
£99 or 129 with Mips.

I wish Sweet helmets came in bigger sizes...

FWIW, follow up from earlier posts, I went for the Giro Synthe. I’m at the top end of a medium so the rear support is fully open but it’s proper comfy, I sometimes forget I’m wearing it. Pretty light and looks good too

Cheers. Jungle Products is our UK distributor (same that got Santa Cruz, KS etc). I'd check with them for nearest LBS. Or just order from http://www.sweetprotection.com directly.

Anyone recommend a helmet for a head that wider at the rear than front, pear shape in a 58cm
😬
