thanks chaps but no its not these, the flute does not sound at all natural/jazzy etc. Quite high pitched and synthy.

Anyone listen to a lot of commercial radio? Heard yesterday, not sure which station. Sounded like chart/pop track, slight rockabilly/slide guitar vibe. Female vocalist. Chorus/Refrain possibly "and they judge me". Like a very pop Imelda May. Any ideas? Thanks! :)
