Nice spot. This is a decent listen too - more dancehall than dub of course - and it’s guaranteed you won’t agree with the top 10
Edit - meant to thank @EagleEyez too

Here’s a great mix up of Perry in Dub.

Thanks, really enjoyed that. I definitely didn't agree with the top ten and how could they put the Punanny Riddim above Sleng Teng??!!

I have a feeling that has appeared in this thread already, looks great though. I imagine it was pretty mad when the sub dropped!

Probably me. I did have a quick search because I'm sure I'd have posted it already

I love the Wrongtom meets the Ragga Twins album (In Time).

Yeah, I have that & enjoy it but don't listen enough. Tend to reach for Duppy Writer.

Anyone read one of these, any good?

This is such an epic tune. Rootsman confirms it'll never be re-released on vinyl unfortunately.

It's not dub, but I thought this might be the place to ask. Trying to find an album I listened to around a decade ago. Slowed down South American cumbia, bass heavy and quite hypnotic. Similar to this compilation, but much more extreme. My google skills are failing me.

Some of the el remolon mixetapes were on a similar vibe. But more modern mash up as well, if that makes sense.

Meridian Brothers maybe?

I think I might still have a couple of old mixtapes, I’ll have a search through my HD tomorrow.
This was always my favourite from those times, although it’s a bit more pop than what you’re referencing

I think you’re thinking along the lines of Hijo de la Cumbria, I got one old mix you’re welcome to
Thanks, will check it. There are quite a few shows on the BBC sounds app celebrating the 60th anniversary of Jamaica's independence.
