Once again, I will be unable to attend. Please accept my apologies.

Thanks everyone for attending last night. Apologies if it dragged on a bit, will adopt a more ruthlessly efficient approach to chairing next time.

Yes. This is essential if we want to keep people coming to meetings.

Felt way too long yesterday. I'm sure we all have meetings in a work capacity, but yesterday was far longer than most I do. That's not a dig at anyone, we just need to stay on topic more and probably be a bit more targeted in our decision making process.

And drink less perhaps? I was waffling last night, apologies.

No meeting should last longer than 2 hours, with a break.

You lot are wimps. Two and a half hours is nothing. I thought we got a lot covered and I found it interesting. Would do it again... Especially if there's sandwiches and prizes.

Studies have shown that concentration levels drop after 45 mins. 2 sessions of 45 with a break should be plenty.

Tried it as audio book, but think I might need to get the print version.

Didn't get that factoid from there, in case you were wondering.

No, I just thought you'd like it.
This is a clear example of my inability to stay on topic.

I'm well aware, the statistical ideal is to have 20 min breaks between 45 min shifts. Although I have a low concentration span (find it difficult to concentrate for ten minutes let alone 45), I also have the ability to dip in and out of concentration, so for items on the agenda that have little or no effect on me I repacked my bag, ate food, rolled a cigarette and did other things I find restful.
In my last job it was far from uncommon to have Client meetings that lasted for upwards of 4 hours.
This does beg the question, who's able to ref for an hour bench minor?
Oh and I do find tangents strangely restful :)

Great, I've put the Agenda in the LHBPA forum as haven't had a chance to upload it to the website...
I don't think we have any LHBPA ones left, I'll check. John may have Magic balls.
