Sorry, above post didn't make particullary good sense, just not thinking straight, try this...
Hi AllAfter what happened to Chrystelle on Wednesday, my sister and I have decided we may not be able to change the cycling world, but we can try and stop any other cyclists being in danger at that junction. We have arranged a petition to try and get the road layout changed and the road widened to make it safer for all traffic. I have included the link, please please please help us to change this horrible crossroads.
Chrystelle was an experienced and proud cyclist and we cannot begin to understand how this happened. If you would like to support our cause in memory of our very special cousin please go to
http://www.gopetition.co.uk/petitions/save-cyclists-lives.html
Thank you again for all your thoughts and messages and stay safe
My thoughts are with you and your family and friends Kat, I've just signed the petition.

Signed and apologies for the delay. Heartfelt condolences to all the family and friends. Heart warming, and breaking, to read the loving comments, and to feel the pain of loved ones left behind.
i got a reply from my mp.
he says.... 'sorry to hear the news.
that road safety is a priority for govn and that whilst he was road minister road deaths and injuries did reduce.
20 mph zones are a success.
he was cycling there recently.
let him know if there is anything more he can do...'
i think progress is being made. but we need to keep supporting lcc, ctc, roadpeace and our mps and councillors in making change happen.
good luck guys and gals.....
it was good to receive the reply.
go on it is not too late. use the link and write to your mp and / or sign the petition.
