So what did the bike whisperer whisper. I reckon 56cm + 12cm stem.

I found ealing alright. Only got myself partially lost between office and shepards bush and that was just stupidity.

It was fun finding out where these other places in london that i have been to on the tube before really are. Long ride home from ealing round via some of the south circular through HH and on to Lewisham.

56cm Fuji Track Pro on order!! :-) Have been recommended a 100mm stem but when i have the proper bike fit will swap that out for a different one if needed. Being fitted to it on 3rd October... very exciting.

Am definitely coming to newport and it should all be ready the weekend before. Am looking forwards to being back on the indoor track too.

Yeah i am looking forward to the indoor track..My first indoor session.

Those boys have nothing to worry about yet. Need to do some serious training to really start getting faster even with a new toy!

They were great. Hugely welcoming and cheerful. I was chatting to Sherrit mainly while i was there and he has such a wealth of knowledge.

He looked at me relatively briefly on my road bike in order to confirm the size i bought but i am having their full fit next weekend and will report back after that.

49 teeth for now. Am gonna get me a 48 and a 50 over the next little while so i actually have a range to use.

Cutting shouldn't be too scary. Am getting fitted to have the right height decided and it comes with a serious-looking cutting guide that clamps around the post and is done up with allen key to keep it in the right place.

Great bike James, Wheels look nice are they clinchers or tubs? We going to see it down at HH over the weekend? What saddle is that?

Clincher wheels but the tires seem to be pretty good. Recommended max 145psi. Might be down at HH on sat afternoon if finish fitting in time but am doing the ride of the falling leaves on sunday.
