Not bad for a Giant.
But how will the blue rims look after 1 week riding and braking... -

uh-oh. no toeclips.. why don't have all these 'flipflop'-bikes no toeclips? ffs

But how will the blue rims look after 1 week riding and braking...Actually, I think following the incredible success that Charge have had with their Plug, other companies are doing the same. Whereas Charge take the Plug, repaint it, and stick on different handlebars to turn it into a 'totally different bike', until now, Giant did the same with the Bowery. This gave us the Bowery Mash Up, Bowery '72, and Bowery '84. That Chixie is a Bowery, but without the Bowery name attached.

£499.99 so you may be getting a new bike.
I've been racing my fixed pompino is some Cx races and not doing to bad with a few top 10 finishes so i can defo recomend this stye of bike

WTF!? Kona Grand Wagon is nearly a two grand wagon, coming in with a RRP of £1,800! What a joke! For that money anyone would be so much better off sourcing a lovely frame, getting a load of decent parts that they want, and putting together a unique and good-looking bike of their own for at least a few hundred quid less. I wonder how many they'll sell at that price.

I'd go custom for that money and get exact components I'd want. Sure many people on here would do the same too.

Not feeling the new paint job at all. My orange/white one is hardly a thing of the most refined tastefulness, so they've excelled themselves by actually making it look worse.

Since i moved down the south cost, have been riding a lot more "soft road" for want of a better expression, really enjoy it on a fixed, but need a better steed, had been looking at the Pomp, originally wanted a Van Dessel Country road Bob, but hard to get hold of over here

I don't get that design at all. It doesn't even seem sensible.
The area where the most forces of torque are put through the frame, is at the bottom bracket. This is why Cannondale and other manufacturers beef up this area the most. Why would the bottom bracket area on this be the least strengthened, and the headtube be the most? Weird, and very, very, very, very ugly.

I do, remember how beefed up the top tube of those American cruiser?;
form over function.

Wasn't that supposed to mimic a fuel tank in some way though?
Not what you want to see on a 'track' bike is it?

the puma isnt meant to be a track bike. its meant to mimick the shape of the puma that is their logo.
Its, quite unbelievably, the GIANT CHIXIE!
