The Cup looks forward to watching the Beards destroy BRBPC this Sunday afternoon.

The Cup also would like to challenge Zombie Disconnected. Bill leaves for a holiday on Thursday. Mark is in Oxford on Tuesday. Monday or Wednesday okay?

During the BFF Tourney it was hard enough to jot down the score, turn the score board, check the stopwatch and keep an eye on the play.

If the stats need to be taken then there needs to be someone else recording them, the line ref needs to always have an eye on the court.

If you have enough time to note all those stats whilst reffing it's either a REALLY slow game, or you're not reffing properly.

For instance, after a goal, you need to check that the scoring team all tap-out, and check that the scored on team don't cross before two have tapped. This is crucial for ensuring fair play. You will not be able to do this if you (well, I can't) if you are noting down scorer, time of goal etc).

And in Bill's case, you need time to roll a cigarette.

I'm away from Wednesday until the 26th so it looks like it will have to be postponed (along with our game against Zombie and whoever we draw next week). This is annoying because otherwise we could have postponed the two fixtures that fell within that period and caught them up when I get back but now we have three so will either have to forefit one or get Pip and Wayne to try and find a sub for one of them (are there any?).
