Not sure what's going to happen to the results of these games. I think the home team of the game will forfeit the game.

Or they could just have nil points each?

Read the rules. It's the home team's responsibility to organise the game, if they haven't managed to play it within the 3 month league extension, they should forfeit. We've let the whole thing slip enough already, maybe we shouldn't start changing the rules now.

So next league all you have to do if you are a struggling team is play your home games and not quite be able to make it your away games and you are sorted for the top half rankings.

i dont know or care whether its schmooves or our home game that hasnt been played, but this ruling is not good. The rule in no way states that there is a penalty applied to the home team.

I don't know how decisions are made but I just want to state that I am against this, and not for personal gain.

Well, it was your home game, thus your responsibility to organise the fixture in time, you haven't, you take the consequences. Don't bitch, just cos you couldn't get together a game, there's been nearly 3 months since the last fixture was released.

**Basic rules **

• Three games per fixture.
  - Two weeks to play a fixture.
  
• No-show counts as a forfeit (unless you can rearrange before end of league; see further details below).
  
• A volunteer referee (preferably with 2 goal refs) should be present at all games.
  
• It is the responsibility of the ref to email the scores.
  
• League should not interfere with throw-ins, unless it happens during team night or at a designated league court.
  - Home team to bear responsibility of making the fixture happen with other team.
  
• There will be a trophy that we can keep for eternity, which will bear the names of each year’s winner (beginning with “BAD Polo” 2009).
  
• Deadline for team registration is one week before league begins.

It's not up to me to enforce them, but I am happy to cite them. People will always bitch about things subjectively, just need someone to remain objective about it.

can we stop using the term 'bitch' please, not because it causes offence, but because it sounds aggressive.

The more you quote the rules, the more it becomes apparent that it does not state that the home team takes a forfeit if the games is not completed within the two week period or by the end of the league.

No-one has a right to enforce or cite rules that are not written. 'bearing responsibility' is insanely broad.

whatever. you do something towards the league, like maybe sweep a court, whatever, not just bitch moan about bobbles but never do anything about it.
