  • Why don't La Schmoove move play on Sunday? Win-win!

  • that'd be nice! ;)

  • Black Rebel Vs. La Schmoove
    13:00 Saturday @ Downham.

    (In the diary)

  • Meh, too bad my first claim to Sunday was ignored. Another day!

  • Good to cheer on my favourite teams last night, despite the fact it was raining knives and forks!

What were the final scores for SLAP? The first game was 2-1 to Polonuim 210, but what were the scores in the SLAP victories?

    BAD got another 15-0 :D

  • & Emmet, sorry i didn't stick around to see your last 3 games. Good to see some wins though :)

fixed or freewheel in the torrential rain?

  • Why don't La Schmoove move play on Sunday? Win-win!

I didnt think we were playing you?
Seriously im not bothered but dont have much more time left to sort it out so keep it as Sat or make it Sun. Just give me enough time to send a message down the river.

  • You're not! I was just offering advice to poor domesticated Matt ;) He can't play two days, but needs to play two teams (one of which can only play Sunday).

  • Yeah. Last night was interesting. Remember pre-journey over sitting in front of my computer waiting for last nights games to be called off...

Anyway, brilliant fun. Thanks for the great games Elks/Spinals.

Also a massive thanks to everyone who stayed back to support and ref Cogs v Tapout. I know how much I wanted to get home, dry and warm, so we appreciate the sacrifice!

    I believe it went -

    Polonium - SLAP
    2-1 // 1-2 // 1-5

  • cool. now lets see if Otto can dry out his notebook to get all the scores/scorers/match reports from last night...

  • Polo always brings out the hysterical in me.

Fun games last night, thanks to Elks and TapOut for that.
Thank you sarah for your bike, fixed was definitely better in the rain.
And good to see everyone else!

score for the last tapout/cogs game was 5-0.

    this is polo.

yeah cheers for the game, we had a tough time of it specially with the wall in front of goal... 3 bikes in the D in game two definitely proved difficult to get passed.

I tried everything to take out Cam when you guys were sitting back... elbows, mallet swipes, bike on bike. His little hops and bike handling is really good.

ELKS are not having much luck with bikes at the moment with otto and jono having a little scuff. Leaving Jono 4 spokes down on the front wheel, braking his dual lever set-up and threading his fixed hub :( Happy to come out of the fixture relatively unscathed.

Cogs are going to be a force to reckon with and i can see them climbing up the table pretty swiftly. Thanks again for the clean games.

  • ^ stinks of excuses Ray... weak mate, weak

  • You stink of shit.x

  • It's true, I'm sick of bike problems (always on league nights)... I'll have a mark two Archie next week, you'll see.

  • I too am ok for Saturday or Sunday but can really only do one or the other. If the weather is better on Sunday it would make more sense....

  • sunday would be best. checking with the R-oh-ex-why? cos she's our team mate.

  • I didn´t take my phone or wallet last night as I knew it was going to be wet but Christ almighty that was polo of the Apocalypse.

At times it reminded me of watching classic American football games with players wearing leather helmets sliding around in the mud chasing a pigskin ball.

Good determination on the part of the teams that showed up and slogged through what eventually became a lagoon in the back left-corner and a swamp everywhere else.

The ball sluggish through the water and it´s slickness adding greatly to the fumble tally.

Gritty, cold games, warm polo spirit, viva polo!

  • brbpcya vs:
