  • for goodness sakes ed, do you game or came? be specific and don't edit your shit.

  • what are you talking about B?

  • Im confused now. I thought that you were saying those were the scores for each game.

  • oh dear I've caused some confusion, those were the scores of the first game in chronological order.

  • These recent write ups are awesome. But how on God's earth does anyone manage to make such detailed notes and/or remember all that shit whilst trying to ref I game?? I seemed to be constantly running up and down the sidelines and trying not to drop Hassan's iphone whilst desperately trying to look out for shuffles/elbows/t-bones etc. Perhaps multi-tasking is not my forte.

  • Heh! The one I wrote up, I wasn't reffing. My notes were still a proper 2&8 though.

  • It's impossible if the game's a tough one, otherwise just use some sort of short hand system you can scribe without looking at the paper.

  • The way forward is either a voice recorder or seperate scribe and ref.

  • ^Or just make it up like you do! What was the score again?...

  • Who else is playing at Newington tonight then? Apart from Cosmic v Los Conos at 8pm?

  • Beards V BAD says the calendar. Should be a cracking night of polo!

  • thanks. not sure why the calendar doesn't show for me. although i can't access google/gmail at the moment, so must be something to do with that.

  • That would be it - it's all google API stuff. Or somethink.

  • Polo Fiasco and/or La Schmoove.
This weekend? Either Sat or Sun.

Shame...I was looking forward to reading the write up for that cosmic vs zombie game. That was one of the best games I'd played in. Some fast paced action (I'd forgot how big mitch is) and slick moves from both teams but our golden goal win in the second game after being 3-1 down with just 1min30secs left on the clock was heart pounding!

that was an incredible game, if i'd known you needed a write up i would have paid more attention at the time...

  • Todd's final goal to seal the fixture was also some of the best polo I've seen. Hassled by Zombie all over the shop, calm and composed he worked up the court and then sent the ball flying, beautiful.

  • cosmically bad bearded throw ins at newington tomorrow night! should be good.

notice how you didn't include Los Conos in that.

    twat.
