Linda McCartney food is terrible especially the sausages!
Quorn sausages are bland on thier own, but just like meat they miraculously change flavour when cooked in sauces and whatnot (honest, try it!) Cauldron are a million times better as said before though and making your own out of soya mince is even better again. Agreed on the hot dogs, they are lush :)

The meat content of Linda McCartney sausages used to be quite high, as I recall. Veggie fail.
Didn't happen. They do contain a lot of salt though, often more than their meat equivalent and on a medical basis can easily be considered far less healthy.

tofu wieners FTW!
don't go in for fake products much, but these are well tasty esp.with fried onions, mustard, ketchup. also Wicken Fen mushroom and tarragon sausages are pretty good.
I like them too. Nice and smoky. Not too fake meaty :S
@Greasy - I'll check it out tonight. Need to get some miles in.

All Linda McCartney stuff is shit - always has been - suprised its still available even though its always 'on offer' .
Be gentle... back in the day the pies used to be wicked, but they f*cked with the recipe - too bad. Anyways, gawd bless her, she was a good photographer and had a lovely voice...
Quorn™ is made by the devil.
I'm going to defend the sausages - smear them in olive oil and give them a jolly good grilling + poached eggs on toast + shrooms + beans + brown sauce - makes for a good veggie fry up...

Quorn's no good for proper vegetarians :-)
I never buy meat substitutes at home, but I'm at my folks' and it's the only way my Mum knows how to cook for me. So it's been Linda McCartney sausages, country pies and nut cutlets all the way. To be honest they're alright, though not amazing. It's quite nice getting the mash or roast potatoes, (veg) gravy and two veg option, though – I've missed the trad thing a bit with all my poncey ways to get round eating animal produce.

The vegans burger from Eat and Two Vegs is delicious as well as their sausage tasting oddly like the actual thing.
pity it's a little too expensive and often surrounded with loud people showing off their gold card.

BeyondMeat do fake chicken that is almost imperceptibly different from the real thing.
http://beyondmeat.com/products/Basically the only difference is that real chicken is a bit more stringy and may occasionally get caught in your teeth.
