Yes to forming an association/club or whatever you want to call it. It'll give us much more 'clout' when negotiating for our long list of demands and wants in the future. BHBPA4eva!

I'll be at PP from 5 tonight. It would be good to sit down and properly chat this through, it seems this won't happen post-polo because everyone has other commitments.
I propose a mini meeting next week, either Monday or Thursday. We can use my house tokeep t cheap.

Go to the pub after playing tonight, I'll come down and give you my 20000000p's worth...

does anyone know anything about East Brighton Park, according to the council website "...two all-weather sports areas are floodlit and open all year until 10pm, they are mainly marked out for full size football, five-a-side or hockey pitches."
-
• #2358
I think all-weather in this context means astroturf.
-
• #2359
It's difficult to tell whether they are both astroturf from the google maps view. One definitely is, but one of them could easily be a hard court.
What do people think about the mini meeting/piss up?

Seski, nice to see you online. Your English rocks!
Have we ever thought about the Lewes Rd courts? It gets rammed sometimes, but it's floodlit, well sized, great playing surface and with a few modifications could be perfect.

I'm back! See yous Wednesday!
I propose PP until too dark tonight, then bomb up to Tarner so people who haven't played there before can take a look. If nothing else we'll discover whether or not it's free on a Wednesday and if the lights are actually on this year.
You're all right - it is small, but it's lit and free...hopefully. I like the idea of having a regular court that we can call our own, and then having the indoor at Shoreham booked for a weekly session through the winter.
I'll be wherever we decide from about 5. Kids to collect, riding in etc...
