  • I was looking for an old Sadowitwiztotwsodiz clip to share but it seems that he's made all traces of footage of him disappear.

  • I might just do that.

Do you remember his TV show, where he basically swore at everyone (between a few really bad magic tricks) - it was like a nascent X-factor but with **bearly disguised **violence and threatening language - brilliant.

    Freudian slip of the year.

  • He had some awesome image - a big unkempt fella in a top hat

  • Freudian slip of the year.

I've asked you to never show that picture of me naked again, but you whip it out at every opportunity, you disgust me.

    Quite a slip though, no?

  • Ricky Jay, he's the man.

  • Sadowitz ! The bloke is brilliant.

If you ever wonder into the place you will see he has stuck a sign up near the counter (on the right hand side) offering his services as an instructor for those wanting to get into card trickery, I am sorely tempted to take a few lessons just to meet him.

Don't do it! It's a trick for gullible southerners....

    Fay Presto, he's not.

  • ^ I heard she can make a flower appear in your Guinness right under your nose....

  • Quite a slip though, no?

    Not bad.

  • Mmmmuuuuhah ahaa ah aah aha ahahah aha aha HA AH H aha AH AHA HAHAHahHAHAHAAA.

    Muhammed?

  • ooops

    wigan will prophet ^^^^^

  • Met him a few times at magic conventions and the like, once years ago, before he became a mentalist, back when he was a regular magician. He was a shit magician, cocked up stuff quite a bit. His Mentalist stuff on the other hand is head and shoulders above anyone else, he is very very talented. When you meet him in person these days, he does have a couple of weird 'ticks' though.

  • This has always puzzled me. Not Derren Brown (and David Blaine et al) but people's reaction to him. Either:

    1) it's some kind of clever illusion, it which case its just good entertainment, or

    2) it's fully blown, bow-down and worship, world-changing miraculous magic.

I know a lot is put down to psychology in Brown's case, but when someone like Blaine makes a name appear, burnt onto the chest of a passerby, its either complete fraudulent bollocks or a miracle. There's no middle ground. I know I'm labouring the point, but it really irritates me when people say "wow, did you see Derren Brown guess the lottery numbers last night?", because either he didn't and its a lie, or he did and everything we thought we knew about logic and reason goes out of the window forever. Its not just a bit of fun, it's either a bit naff or a mind-blowing historical moment.

  • reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepost ^^^^

  • i always thought those ticks were something to do with his hypnotising technique
he always seems to do them while he face to face with a planted memebr of the studio audience

I change my mind about this frequently. Regardless, he is a good showman and fairly witty.

    I would kiss him

  • He's gay, which means he shouldn't be allowed anywhere near cards or kids

  • or balls?

  • Saw his live show recently btw. It was great.

You mean he's a good track sprinter?

  • I like the idea that he (brown) has this skill and could go into casinos and the like and make wads of cash, but doesn't, because he doesn't have to. There's no point him stockpiling loads of cash when he can get it whenever he wants, so the whole world is like his piggy bank.

edit - i seem to remember reading he's banned fom most casinos.

  • he's not a god. he can count cards. stop making out like the laws of physics and logic don't apply to him.

  • Did anyone see this on TV a few mins ago?
He waited for the live numbers to be drawn, then, went to his predicted numbers and they were the same!
He's gonna show how he did it on Friday :)

So he predicted the numbers after the draw had happened?......I could do that.
