I've been priviledged to have been accompanied, on my dusk bike ride home via the lanes of Bedfordshire, near Old Warden, by a gorgeous barn owl, flying at my speed at head height about 10 metres from the road verge, for around 200 metres. Happened several time this past few weeks and very cool it is! Beautiful birds!
