I don't know any women who find the word cunt that offensive, but then they're not po-faced cunts.
All of a sudden, I feel like the lost aliens in District 9.
Crispin Glover, are all of your friends under 30 years old? Since I was a teenager, I made friends with people in their 60s, 70s and 80s, because I found their lives so fascinating to talk about.
Maybe that's why my reasoning is so awry. I have learnt my principles, and those of others, from the wrong generations of people.

Wait, there's special pink bikes? PROOF, I may want.
Also, evidence of how much I love 'cunt'

But here's something to think about then - would one consider tatoos on women on this forum the norm, or away from the norm?
lil also has tattoo's.
zing!

i don't your reasoning is not awry or that you have learnt from the wrong generation of people, it is your opinion and strictly that, not right or wrong.

Having spent a fair while posting on and reading cycling and football messageboards I find this place relatively enlightened. The glossy photo shite is one thing; what I find infinitely more off-putting is the continual unthinking reiteration of the assumption that cycling is mainly for men, and that the posts are written for and by men. This is usually entirely innocently done; it's so entrenched as to not even need any malice aforethought. That we need special sparkly clothing, or special pink bikes, or that forum members should be 'getting their girlfriends into cycling', as we were recalcitrant horses being trained to juggle.
I have a very special very pink bike.

Fair do's.
But I can't tell you how interesting it is to hear an 80 year old woman descibe her life....the ups and the downs, her cheating on her hubby, and him cheating on her. How sacrifice was everything for kids, and olden concepts of extended family. Its like actually talking to the History Channel, and being able to ask questions......and when you see tears well up in their eyes, you realise what a beautiful thing you are learning.
Thats how I learned some things from outside of my normal age range experiences.

Under O's post, on the right hand side you find report and comment, click on comment and REP away

'Repped' is a hangover from the bad old days of rep , when the 'comment' function at the bottom left of a post was called 'add reputation' and rep had different values depending on the reputation of the person giving it. The basic function is still there, but it now consistently shows '+1' or '-1'.
Here's the poll that part-abolished it:

I find it offensive that people find it offensive, but not its male equivalent. Fear of the word = fear of the thing. Mebbe.

Most autistics have special talents, that leave them far more interesting than the regular herd.
I have a theory, that autism can be something that can affect people partially, or fully. I believe that I may be partially autistic, and I don't worry about that for one second.

i wasn't saying you weren't normal. how do you respond to that? "yeah, maybe i should get a test?"
