Ok had a long chat with Chris - new thread pending to gauge interested - but I've got us 15% off for a limited period, we'll probably do it through a voucher system - which will be obtained off of me. Both Chris and I are concious that this doesnt run too long and is only kept to forum peeps.
I've also got some details on the new improved Milkwaulkie hoodies! Which will hopefully be available very soon.
Anyway I'll open another thread. -

Jenne! I have one, its awesome. I got a medium and it fits nicely, I can get plenty of layers underneath and its not restrictively tight. I would recommend you get the S size. In green - I kind of regret not getting mine in a brighter colour...
Yeah, I dunno, the lady told me to get XS b/c of my sizing, she's got the XS and 5'8" 150, which actually makes me worried it'll be too big! Only thing is that I want the red one and it's only in S...ah well.
Also, as an FYI to the laydeez, they're sewing more clothing now but after that they're going to discontinue them. Wait, now that I think about it, maybe they're just discontinuing the ladies cotton knickers, not all womens' clothing in general.
I'll be getting as many as possible!

My wrestling skills are in decline
please come back soon
James, someone needs to make a web game of stick figure you and stick figure me and a limited amount of wrestling moves (thus no dirty-mindedness, yanno) and post it up so people can play. It wouldn't help your skillz of a wrestler but it would be funny!

Jenne, with you being in the US anyway, I may be able to sort something out locally for you. Stick your name on the list and we'll see. I think the new style hoodies will be worth waiting for - I quite fancy red myself
-
• #36
True, Clefty, I just hope the price doesn't skyrocket!
-
• #37
I dont think it will, the new ones are going to be a bit more - but with the discount this may be negligible anyway.

• #38
so, even with all my working out, would a small be better for me? or should i go with a medium?
-
• #39
i think a med would be better for you, you also want to leave a bit of room for layers - although saying that the only time i needed anything more than a baselayer underneath was when we had that epic snow
-
• #40
when riding, your body does heat up quite a bit, so after exiting the house all chilly, 10 minutes worth of riding warm you up nicely, so I find myself not having much layer, simply a t-shirt and the Milwaukee hoodie is usually enough in the coldest of winter.
-
• #41
mmm. interesting.
base layer and wool sweater = win? -
• #42
small probably then.
though if i keep working out like i do....
-
• #43
total win. when I rode in that epic snow I had merino baselayer/merino jersey/milwaulkee toasty as fuck
-
• #44
right then. small probs.
-
• #45
a merino baselayer/milwaukeee is perfect or a chillier-than-usual winter.

I have a S Milwaukeee. It's great, but it's the biggest jacket I own by a mile. I have several Small and Mediums from other brands that could all be worn underneath it quite easily.
Strangely enough, I aslo have a few Swrve Hiding Hoodies in S and they are all too small!
It's all quality stuff though, and I'll be buying more...
Has anyone bought this hoodie? If you have, do you think it's cut generously or more on the trim side? I've been thinking of getting one but I need to know whether I should get the S or XS based on whether I can put stuff under it or not. It's a men's jacket and can't decide whether S will be too big.

• #47
get on the list then!
-
• #48
So, any females who have the Milwaukee - it says the sizing is for both sexes. An x-small is about an 8-10ish, would that be about right?
-
• #49
Yes Ma'am! :)
(at the risk of sounding like a fussy bugger - if they made the Merino Baselayers in black, I'd take at least 3)
get on the list then!

I'm on the list please. I love a list.
No problem mate, just send me a reminder day or two before!
